Minions.

As the summer sun brightly illuminated the courtyard, eleven-year-old Minho, looking very serious, was building a "house" out of boxes and sticks. Ten-year-old Jisung sat nearby, helping him and occasionally laughing at his friend's latest "brilliant" idea.

"This will be the kitchen," Minho announced confidently. "And here's our room!"

"Why ours?" Jisung asked in surprise.

"Because you're my wife!" Minho declared pompously, as if it were a well-known fact.

Jisung just laughed.

• Oh, come on! It's just a game!

“Still mine,” Minho muttered stubbornly.

At that moment, Seungmin approached them. He held a small bouquet of daisies he'd picked nearby.

“Jisung, these are for you,” he said a little embarrassedly, handing over the flowers.

Jisung smiled.

• Thank you!

But before he could take the bouquet, Minho stood between them.

• Hey! Why are you giving flowers to my... my wife?!

"He's not your wife!" Seungmin objected.

• My!

• No!

• My!

A second later, the boys were pushing and trying to knock each other onto the grass. Jisung rushed to separate them.

• Enough! What are you doing?!

After a brief scuffle, Seungmin sat down on the ground and then suddenly sniffled. Tears welled up in his eyes.

“You’re a fool, Minho...” he said quietly.

He wiped his eyes with his sleeve, threw the daisies on the grass and, sobbing, ran out of the yard.

Minho straightened his shoulders proudly, walked up to Jisung and hugged him tightly.

"There!" he declared loudly, so everyone could hear, even though there was hardly anyone around anymore. "I told you, this is my wife! I won't give her to anyone!"

Jisung snorted in embarrassment and tried to get out of the hug.

• Minho! Stop it! It's just a game!

But Minho only smiled wider, pleased that he thought he had "stood up" for his best friend.
