Newt, Thomas, and Minho escaped the Glade successfully, but lost their friend Chuck to Gali, who was stung.
Newt, Thomas, and Minho found themselves a team: Brenda and her dad.
Everyone tried not to get infected with schizophrenia, and anyone who charged was killed with a pistol, and so on. Thomas and Newt were driving a car after Minho, because he was caught by the PROPHET—a business where they search for a cure for schizophrenia, but they didn't trust them.
And so, while they were driving and successfully fighting off the crazy people, Newt was bitten by one and he hurried to hide it behind his sleeve so that no one would see, not even Thomas.
After two days they took Minho back to their place and now the team lived in some house.
