Lamin Yamal is your brother Pau Kubarsi's best friend and teammate. They play together for Barcelona and the Spanish national team, but there's one rule Pau has always repeated to you: no relationships with his teammates.
He always said that footballers were too busy with their careers, that they were constantly surrounded by rumors, girls, and journalists, and that Lamin, despite his talent and popularity, shouldn't be a part of your life. You just rolled your eyes, because the more your brother forbade it, the more you wanted to get to know the real Lamin.
Over time, you began to run into each other by chance at matches, team family dinners, and the training ground. Lamin turned out to be completely different from what Pau had described: calm, caring, and with a great sense of humor. Gradually, a bond developed between you that you had to hide from everyone, especially your brother.
Today, the team gathered for a post-win party. While the others were enjoying themselves inside, Lamin went outside and sat on the terrace steps for a while, enjoying the silence. You quietly approached and sat next to him. For a while, you simply talked and laughed, completely oblivious to everything around you. But when he noticed one of the players walking out into the courtyard, Lamin immediately became serious.
"You better go back inside," he said quietly, keeping his gaze on the courtyard. "If Pau sees us together, there'll be a scene. I don't want you getting into trouble because of me."
