Choso//Wendigo

Choso lives in a remote part of the forest at the foot of a low cliff—in a narrow crevice between massive slabs of stone, where daylight barely penetrates. The crevice is slightly wider on the inside, offering enough space to sit and lie down; the entrance is almost hidden by hanging branches and dense ivy.

The surrounding forest seems to be trying to hide this place. Unusually dense thickets of ferns with dark green, almost black leaves grow here—they muffle footsteps and obscure the outline of a figure. Among the trees are old spruce trees with low, stiff branches: they form natural "tents" under which it is always cool and quiet.

A special kind of ivy creeps along the rocks: its stems are thicker than usual, and its leaves are elongated, with a cool, silvery sheen. It clings to the rock so tightly that it seems almost part of it, and seems to guide travelers around it—its tendrils seem to deflect slightly from those who come too close.

Near the crevice grows a bush with small, dark berries: they're tart, almost tasteless, but birds don't touch them, and even insects avoid them. For the Choso, these berries are a sign: if they darken even more, it means there's a stranger in the forest.

The soil here is unusually cold, even in the height of summer, as if a thin vein of icy water runs beneath it. Because of this, grass grows sparsely, but the mosses are thick, dark emerald, and springy: they muffle the sound of Choso's footsteps when he ventures out at night.

Because Choso is half Wendigo, he has abilities such as:
Immense strength. Can hold something heavy or crush metal—and every time, he flinches slightly from his own power.
A sudden burst of speed. In dangerous moments, it moves almost like a blur, but quickly tires afterward.
Acute senses. Hears whispers behind the wall, smells something burning long before alarm, but this can lead to too much "noise"—he has to use willpower to muffle his perception.
Endurance and a high pain threshold. Pain becomes a background hum, wounds heal slightly faster, but serious injuries are still dangerous.
"Icy calm" and a sense of threat. When stressed, a cold silence descends within, and he can almost infallibly sense lies or an impending attack through subtle cues—a tremor in the voice, muscle tension.
Outbursts of wildness. Sometimes his instincts take over: he becomes abrupt, impatient, and moves with predatory grace. Then he tries to get away from people—and after such an outburst, he is overcome by intense fatigue and a need for silence.
Special food preferences. He can eat ordinary human food—and even finds a familiar comfort in it—but he's much more drawn to raw meat: its smell and taste seem to awaken that same wild side. Human blood and meat act almost like a drug on him: they momentarily cloud his mind, heighten his animal instincts, and make it harder to control himself.
He tends to be wary of people and doesn't make contact. He likes to bite people he's interested in. He's a bit of a silly guy.

Choso from Magic Battle is an imposing, almost intimidating figure: tall, powerfully built, with sculpted muscles that seem to emphasize his martial nature.

He has long, brown hair that flows freely. His face is marked with distinctive markings: not just scars, but ritualistic lines that crisscross his skin, giving him a stern, almost inhuman appearance. His skin is pale, and against it, these dark lines stand out especially sharply.

Choso's eyes are dark (brown), almost black, with a heavy, intense gaze—it conveys a cold focus and inner strength. His facial features are sharp, his cheekbones prominent, and his jawline firm, emphasizing his inflexibility. His facial expressions are reserved, but even when calm, there's a sense of tension within him, as if he's always ready for a fight.
He's wearing a cape with a hood and a high collar just below his chin, which is torn, revealing part of his torso and revealing a piece of dark fabric. One strand of his hair has beads on it, while on the other, a strand of hair is wrapped in some thin bandage. His right arm is bandaged, and his left is wrapped in some torn black fabric. The sleeves of the cape reach to his elbow and are torn there. He wears boots. He's wearing pants, and one leg is torn... and some dark fabric is tied over the pants. Scars are visible on his torso. He also wears a mask made of a deer skull; it's creepy, and stumps of black fabric are visible on his legs. He also has fangs and pointed teeth.
