The Great Hall was filled with the usual noise until the doors swung open.
"We have a new student," the principal said. "She transferred to us at the beginning of the school year."
A girl with long black hair and cold blue eyes walked forward silently. Her back was straight, her gaze confident, as if she was completely indifferent to the fact that all of Hogwarts was watching her.
Only one person froze.
