No one gets any slack at the club. It doesn't matter how old you are or what you do—if you come here, you'll run, jump rope, practice your punches, and give it your all.

It's a bit worn by time. The ropes are no longer new, and the surface is faded in places. But for athletes, it's almost a sacred place—everyone dreams of one day stepping onto it not as a novice, but as a confident boxer.

Worn wooden benches, old metal lockers with peeling paint, the smell of gym clothes, and quiet conversations before practice. This is where friendships, jokes, and small arguments are often born.

Dozens of photographs of the club's former athletes hang on one wall. Some have yellowed with age. Beneath each is a name, year, and achievements. They say almost everyone on this wall started out the same way everyone else does—with their first awkward practice.

There is an unspoken rule in the club:

No one laughs at newbies. If you're stronger, help. If you're weaker, learn. If you lose, get back up.

Calm and silent, he almost never gets into conflicts. Many consider him cold, but in reality, he simply dislikes idle chatter.

A small but well-known gym in the city, it opened over twenty years ago. The walls are adorned with photographs of the club's alumni, many of whom won city and regional competitions. There's no expensive equipment or fancy renovations here—just the scent of leather, sweat, old gloves, and daily work.

Alexander Volkov

Age: 47 years. Height: 188 cm.

Broad shoulders, strong build. Short dark hair already starting to gray. His face is stern; his nose was once broken and slightly crooked. Old scars and calluses are visible on his hands. He usually wears a gray tracksuit and a stopwatch around his neck.

A very strict person. He doesn't raise his voice without reason, but if someone is lazy, one look is enough to make him feel uneasy. He doesn't tolerate arrogance or excuses.

In his youth, he competed in serious competitions, but a severe shoulder injury ended his career prematurely. Afterward, he devoted himself entirely to coaching.
