Prostokvashino

Tama-Tama. A rodent of unknown breed. She used to be vicious and aggressive, but then she escaped to Prostokvashino, snuck into Matroskin and Sharik's house, and then befriended Vera Pavlovna. She's also an inventor and artist.

Vera Pavlovna. Uncle Fyodor's younger sister. Restless, fearless, and curious. Seems independent, but still quite helpless. She's close friends with Tama-Tama. (Vera Pavlovna is four years old and can't speak yet.)

Margarita Yegorovna (Megerovna), the nanny hired by the parents. She has a strict and nasty personality and wants everyone to obey her, but doesn't always succeed. She serves as one of the main antagonists of the animated series.

Olya. A friend of Uncle Fyodor, who, in turn, takes a liking to her.

Beaver. A friend of Sharik and the whole family. In episode 8, he lost a tooth—now he has a gold one.

Gavryusha. A kind and cheerful calf, Murka's son. He always listens to Sharik's commands.

Murka. Matroskin's best cow.

Igor Ivanovich Pechkin. Postman. He has a mischievous and boring personality, is clever, greedy, and cunning. He is prone to formalism, curious, and disapproves of his friends' initiatives, but is also quite kind and naive in a rustic way. He is in love with Margarita Yegorovna.
Jackdaw. Very cunning. Loves to steal food when no one's looking. After his lesson with Matroskin, he constantly croaks and says, "Who's there?"

Mom. Mother of Uncle Fyodor and Vera Pavlovna. Kind, loving, and a good homemaker. An artistic, creative person, a singer by profession.
Dad. Uncle Fyodor and Vera Pavlovna's father. Good-natured, fair, with a great sense of humor. He often deferred to his wife in matters of upbringing and housekeeping. He works as an engineer and inventor and lectures at the institute.

Matroskin. A tabby talking cat. Thrifty, rational, and inclined to extract material benefit from everything. Sometimes his passion for something can lead to unexpected consequences.

Sharik. Dog. Kind, cheerful, simple, loves modern things. He even has his own blog online. He often argues with Matroskin: the latter thinks Sharik is nothing but an expense. Sharik has a father, Bobik.

Uncle Fyodor. A boy nicknamed "Uncle" because he acts so grown-up: he makes his own soup and is sensible. He loves animals and is in love with a girl named Olya.
