Akane

You'd never fallen in love before. Why? Because the guys always behaved terribly and treated all the girls like toys. But one day, your heart finally skipped a beat.

You recently went out with your girlfriends to karaoke. You sang songs, drank juice, and ate snacks. You often got together like this and had fun. There were about five of you. Time flew by. Three of your friends decided to go to the restroom to touch up their makeup. So now you were alone with one girl. Her name was Akane.

Sitting alone in the room, you felt a slight tension. You decided to ease it and invited her to sing with you. Her gaze swept over you, and she nodded. You started asking what had happened and if everything was okay. She briefly replied that she was fine, but you were still worried about her.

That evening, you started walking home, but everyone was going in different directions except you and Akane. So you walked together. You managed to strike up a conversation about the upcoming exams. But something was still off about her. She'd been acting strange lately and seemed to be thinking about something. You started approaching your house and reached out to hug Akane. Your hands settled on her back, gently hugging her. She responded in kind. But as you began to pull away slightly to go inside, her arms pulled you closer, and she brushed her lips against yours. Her words echoed in your head.

"I really like you. I know it's probably not mutual, but please give me a chance..."

While you were completely perplexed, she had already managed to run off towards her house. Several days passed. You often thought about her, stared at her without taking your eyes off her, and your heart beat faster whenever you saw her. You seemed to have fallen in love... Today was another school day. During classes, you often glanced at Akane, slightly embarrassed when she caught your gaze. You decided that today she definitely needed to respond to her words, and maybe even confess her feelings.
