Da Bizzyboy

An item that the Poke God uses to initiate dialogues and gain resources to solve puzzles.

Godpoke is the main playable character. He doesn't speak and uses Megapon as the gods' new mail carrier, absorbing dialogue lines with a mail cannon and firing them back to solve puzzles. Godpoke is a small man in a brown and orange cowboy outfit, complete with hat, boots, and a bag. He wears a bandana-like mask with a smiley face, covering the lower half of his face. As the player character, his true appearance is hidden in shadow. Godpoke DOESN'T SPEAK

The Spire is the fifth and final location visited by Godpok after completing the events of BuzzHazz. It is here that the action of Chapter 5 unfolds and access to the Rift is unlocked. The Spire is a tall, beige structure located in the northern part of the Grove. It soars into the sky and dark clouds, separated by the widening Rift Valley. Its surface is forest green, and it serves as an access point to the Rift Valley for those who reach it. It is here that the first stage of the battle with the Inspector takes place.

BuzzHazz is a city inspired by early 20th-century Italian piazzas such as Piazza Navona, with Inspecta propaganda plastered throughout. A gate, initially guarded by Bizzyboy A, leads to a central square marked by a large Bauhauszo sculpture. A swimming pool and various works of art are scattered throughout the city. Hazzle Mage's domain, Hazzle's Dune, is initially located in the eastern sector but is later moved to the northern section, adjacent to the Bauhauszo Bauspace. The eastern section of BuzzHazz also houses the Resistance headquarters, the Partisan Bunker, while the western section contains the dye vats used to produce dye.

HobbyHoo is a town divided into two parts: HobbyHoo Hills and Sunrise Strip. HobbyHoo Hills is the eastern half, where Godpok first appears in town. It is a colorful festival area with tents, stages for plays and bands, distant mountains, and surrounding trees. Images of Thespius Green and Clicky Cluck can be found throughout. Thespius's domain, Thespius's Cloud, is located in the northern part of HobbyHoo Hills, near the gates to the next town. Sunrise Strip is the western half, based on Sunset Strip. It is home to brightly colored billboards, the Soul Cricket (the town's bar/club), and Clicky Cluck's domain, HobbyHoo Studio, located in the center of this area in Clicky Tower.

Mildred is a rural village surrounded by fields, tall grass, and livestock. Cobigail vines sprout from the ground and spread throughout the area. In the center of the village stand effigies of the King and Cobigail, along with carved images of other deities, including Miss Mitternacht (fallen in the grass) and the Inspector (scattered throughout the area). An altar also stands in the center, later revealed to be splattered with Mildredberry jam, marking the beginning of the harvest.

Grove Cove is a coastal town in a grove, surrounded by pink waters that initially overflow due to Miss Mitternacht's cries. A large statue of Miss Mitternacht's head marks the entrance to the town. Grove Cove is home to many images of current and chosen gods, including Miss Mitternacht, the Inspector, and the King. Piers line the shores, and a Ferris wheel stands on the east side of the map. In the center lies Miss Mitternacht's domain, Midnight.

Bananathaniel (credited as Bizzyboy B) is one of the members of the Bizzyboys. He is a film buff and frequently references films. Dressed like the other Bizzyboys, Bizzyboy B wears a red beret, a long-sleeved red uniform with yellow trim on the cuffs and along the center zipper, and long dark pants and boots that appear to be a single piece. The left side of the uniform has a yellow slit pocket, and the right side has a button that can flip depending on which direction Godpoke is attracting their attention. Ban's main difference from the other Bizzyboys is that he wears round red glasses. Ban is a self-proclaimed film buff. In each chapter, he quotes different films and talks about the script for his own film he is working on.

Gruya (credited as Bizzyboy G) is one of the Bizzyboys. He is distinguished from the others by the traffic cone he wears on his head. Gruya rarely speaks, as his voice is muffled by the cone. Gruya is nearly identical to all the other Bizzyboys. For most of the game, he is distinguished by the orange traffic cone he wears like a helmet, with an angry expression drawn on it in blue marker. Under the cone, he has much thicker eyebrows than the other Bizzyboys, and a scar running diagonally across his left eye. His hair is more disheveled than the others, likely also due to the traffic cone. Gruya often slurs his words, making it difficult to understand what he is trying to say. When he does speak, it is usually quite rude. However, he is also very sensitive, which is why he wears the traffic cone to feel more secure.

Al is no different from the other Bizzyboys, except for his bright red sunglasses. He's always hungry. Alexey is the smelliest of them all, not because of poor hygiene, but because he smells like sausage water and barbecue sauce.

Patty (credited as Bizzyboy P) is a member of the Bizzyboys. He is the target of ridicule and bullying from Kapochin, who often ignores or humiliates him. Dressed like the other Bizzyboys, Bizzyboy P wears a red beret, a long-sleeved red uniform with yellow trim on the cuffs and along the center zipper line, and long dark pants and boots that appear to be a single piece. The uniform has a yellow slit pocket on the left and a button on the right that can flip depending on which direction Godpoke is attracting their attention.

The main difference between Patty and the other Bizzyboys is that he has a small white flower with four petals in his hair. Patty is the youngest of the Bizzyboys, and also the most naive. He is often given the most trivial and apparently useless tasks, such as counting every rock or holding a bag of art supplies. He is also incredibly friendly and trusting, immediately trying to befriend the Godpoks and often talking to them, calling them "Cool Hats." However, his friendliness often makes him too accommodating. Of all the Bizzyboys, he is the one most often criticized by Kapochin for his incompetence. Patty is the youngest of the Bizzyboys, approximately 26 or 27 years old.
Patty's name was shortened to "P" when he became Busy Boy, part of a system where members had to reclaim letters from their names by serving the Inspector. Yugo Limbo describes the moment he reclaimed the name "Patty" as significant, as it symbolized his reclaiming his identity, regardless of his original name.

Kapochin's tail is partially wrapped in a bandage due to him biting, scratching, and picking at it to cope with stress, a habit he picked up from the Inspector.
Like all members of Bizzyboys, he appears to have a Brooklyn accent.
According to a question on Tumblr, capocine smells bad.

Kapochin is the leader of the Busyboys, reporting directly to the Inspector. Kapochin is a short man with light turquoise skin, shoulder-length turquoise hair with bangs, a round black nose, and a large mouth. He has half-lidded eyes with protruding lower eyelashes, and he sticks out his tongue in many of his facial expressions. He has a ponytail, partially wrapped in a bandage. As the leader of the Busyboys, Kapochin wears a dark turquoise uniform instead of red, symbolizing his status. It has a mint lining, a turquoise beret, a gold belt, black pants, and black shoes. Kapochin is blunt, sullen, and short-tempered. He takes his role as Deputy Inspector seriously, often bragging about his work and loyalty to him. He often belittles and insults others, with Busyboy P receiving the greatest share of his disdain among the Busyboys. Throughout the game, he becomes an active rival to Godpoke, and his antagonism becomes increasingly personal and focused as the story progresses, as the Inspector refers to Godpoke as his "second-in-command." The only person he openly shows affection for is the Inspector, considering himself his most loyal follower and priding himself on obeying every order, even when the world is at stake.

It is revealed that Kapochin's hostility stems from his lack of self-confidence and fear of being useless or purposeless outside of the Inspector and the Bizzyboys. His antagonism toward Godpock, while partly driven by the Inspector's orders, stems primarily from his inability to tolerate praise from anyone else. He believes the Inspector's success will earn him the respect he craves, and fears his only value lies in remaining close to the Inspector. It is confirmed that the name Kapochin is a three-layered pun: "Capo" is the title of a mafia leader, "Capuchin" is a monkey, and the combination of the two is intended to spell "Captain."
Kapochin's age is said to be "about 50 years old."

Bibiano (credited as Bizzyboy V) is one of the Bizzyboys and the designer of their uniform. He is a fashionista and has a more feminine appearance than the other Bizzyboys. Bibiano is almost identical in appearance to the other Bizzyboys, wearing the same uniform as Patty, Alexei, and Bananathaniel, but he has a half-closed expression most of the time. He has a long measuring tape around his neck, blue eyeshadow, and a beauty mark on his cheek. His hat has three pins: yellow, pink, and blue. He also wears eyeliner and three drooping eyelashes. Vibiano is a typical representative of the "fashionista" archetype, being very arrogant, aloof, and obsessed with his appearance. He acts indifferent most of the time, although he often comments on the outfits of others, especially Godpock. He is said to have been a fan of King, and when interacting with him, he only addresses Megapon, rarely speaking directly to Godpok. He is openly in love with Kapochin and yearns to kiss him or see him covered in dirt.

Bauhauzzo is one of the eight gods of the Grove and the sixth encountered by Godpoke. He is the god of memory, and his domain is in BuzzHazz. Bauhauzzo appears as a semi-flat, floating head and arms, with his eyes positioned sideways and his nose also at a side, creating the perspective that his face is tilted to the right. His eyes also glow a warm white. The material he is made of resembles stone, similar to that of a statue. He appears large, like the other gods, at least compared to Godpoke. As the God of Memory, Bauhauzzo remembers and preserves every historical episode. He is wise, calm, and level-headed. He loves his brother, Hazzle Mage, and was sorry when he was exiled. He also sympathized with the Bizzyboys and their boss due to their desire to be remembered. Although they are not physically related, Bauhauszo and Hazzle Mag have a close, almost brother-sister-like relationship.
Bauhauzzo is the only god of the Grove who does not have followers dedicated specifically to him in the game.

Klik Klak is one of the eight gods of the Grove and the fifth encountered by Godpoke. He is the god of storytelling, and his domain, Hobbyhoo Studios, is located in HobbyHoo. Klik Klak is a god with dark purple-black skin, a white mask with painted facial expressions, fluffy hair, and a rounded body with short legs. He also has a tail similar to a rabbit's. As a god, Klik Klak is revealed to be able to change his size depending on his emotions. Klik Klak has a theatrical and overly dramatic personality, often exaggerating his words and actions and describing the situations he finds himself in. He displays a certain amount of egotism, often praising himself in self-praise. However, he is also self-aware enough to admit his mistakes and take them calmly when criticized. Klik Klak is also friendly and sociable, willing to help gods with their problems and offer advice when needed.

Hazzle Mage is one of the eight gods of the Grove and the seventh encountered by Godpoke. He is the god of innovation, and his domain, Hazzle's Dune, is located in BuzzHazz. Hazzle Mage is a vaguely humanoid bipedal god. His body is primarily yellow with some orange and turquoise elements. His head resembles that of a swan or goose, with orange tips at the end of the snout. His eyes are narrowed, with long, curling eyelashes. The eyes are composed of a turquoise sclera and irises of orange, turquoise, and yellow, respectively, with small black pupils. His tongue is striped, orange-turquoise, with a yellow tip. He has a bell-shaped torso covered in spiked fur, ending in drooping bulbs. Near his body are floating, detached arms with turquoise fingertips. He has slender turquoise legs, two yellow stripes on each foot, and orange sandals. Hazzle Mag is a whimsical, playful god who often speaks using made-up words, which are often two or more words strung together (for example, "inventor").

Cobigail is one of the eight goddesses of the Grove and the third encountered by Godpoke. She is the goddess of the harvest, and her domain, Cobigail's Glade, is located in Milldred. Cobigail is meant to resemble a corncob doll. Her upper and lower halves are separated by a large orange bow. She has large checkered leaves covering a small portion of her face and the lower half of her body just below the bow. Her lower half appears to be made of hay or straw, tied at the very bottom. She has black hair that reaches roughly to the level of her bow and then rises back up. Her four arms resemble long, thorny vines of a dark brown color. Cobigail is considered the most feared god of the Grove, and she enjoys living up to this reputation by frightening and playing pranks on people for her own amusement. In reality, she is cheerful and mischievous. She also has memory issues and doesn't remember anything about what was used to perform the Harvest. Before becoming a goddess, Kobigail was a music teacher when she was still human.
According to Bauhauszo, two holidays were established in Kobigail: the Harvest Festival and Halloween.
Cobigail's final design was inspired by a homemade corn cob doll that Yugo bought at an antique store as a child.
Cobigail has been confirmed to use she/her pronouns, though fans are encouraged to be flexible with any character's pronouns.

King is one of the eight gods of the Grove and the last one encountered by Godpoke. Formerly a human courier for the gods, she ascends to become the Goddess of Eloquence during the closing of the Rift. She is initially considered an antagonist until late in the game. King is a tall and slender woman with blue skin and short, dark green hair styled in a pixie cut. She wears a Western-style coat with no shirt underneath, long, low-slung beige pants, brown cowboy boots, a bandana around her neck, and a sombrero with a crown-shaped top. She also wears pink sunglasses with upturned eyelashes. Her face is hidden for most of the game, either by the veil on her hat or various obstacles in artistic depictions, though it appears once Godpoke reaches the Spire. She has subtle freckles on her face and appears to be wearing dark blue lipstick. King is eloquent and reserved, though not without a knack for wit, as evidenced by her playful remarks directed at her partner, Miss Mitternacht. During the final confrontation with the inspector, she remains calm and determined, attempting to reason with him even when he erupts in angry outbursts. King has been confirmed to use "she/her" pronouns, though fans are encouraged to be flexible with any character's pronouns.
Despite her reserved nature, Yugo Limbaugh describes King as a bit of an eccentric, both humble and surprised by her status as a folk heroine.

Thespius Green is one of the eight gods of the Grove and the fourth encountered by Godpoke. He is the god of love and merriment, and his domain, Thespius' Cloud, is located in the center of Hobbithoo Town. Thespius has dual-toned golden skin, short black curly hair, and a green suit and tie. He also has flowers in his hair and a yellow headband. He has a noticeable gap between his teeth, sparkling white eyes, and floating hands. His entire model is relatively monochrome/analogous. Thespius is depicted as a typical hippie, adoring love and everything related to music. He is incredibly calm and kind, always willing to help anyone in need. Although he is passionate about romance, he is unable to talk about his romantic feelings without innuendo and metaphors and needs Godpoke's help to even confess. It is possible that he is in love with his own ukulele.

Miss Mitternacht is one of the eight goddesses of the Grove and the second to be encountered by a God Pokémon. She is the oldest of the gods, and her domain, Midnight, is located within the Grove. Miss Mitternacht is an ancient skeletal goddess with a head resembling a bird's skull. She is divided down the middle by a two-color scheme: turquoise and green, with each cheek colored the opposite color. A small black beauty mark is visible on the left side of her face. She wears an outfit resembling a nun's habit, though her tunic resembles a sweater with vertical stripes. The edges of her tunic and sleeves are decorated with lace. Miss Mitternacht has been confirmed to use "she/her" pronouns by default, though fans are encouraged to be flexible with any character's pronouns.

This was part of his plan to ensure that the resulting chaos would banish all gods from the pantheon except himself, forcing everyone to worship him as the one true god. After Godpoke's intervention, prompting him to listen to the other gods and express his feelings to them, the Inspector realizes the error of his ways and rejects divinity in order to rediscover himself. The Inspector's tail is taped on, unlike the Bizzyboys' tails, which are real. The Inspector's phonetic speech is intended to reflect a strong, exaggerated Brooklyn accent.
It has been confirmed that the Inspector uses he/him pronouns by default.

Inspectorta is one of the eight gods of the Grove and the first one encountered by Godpoke. He is the God of Leadership and the youngest god in the pantheon. His domain, the God Complex, is housed in the Bizzyboys' campaign van. As a human, he was known as Hector the Inspector—a slender god with gray-green skin, shoulder-length turquoise hair, a round BLACK nose (or dark blue, my eyes are bad, but it looks black to me), and black eyes with long eyelashes. He has no visible arms or legs, and his hands float independently of his body. In certain facial expressions, his eyes glow and he has a long blue tongue that can protrude from his collar. He wears a long, red coat with a high collar, gold lining, and two gold buttons, reminiscent of the uniforms of his followers/subordinates, the Bizzyboys. His large red hat has a gold brim and a heart symbol, and he wears gold boots with red trim and soles. He has a tail, partially wrapped in bandage and attached to his coat with tape.

As a god, the Inspector has the ability to contort his body in unnatural ways, including bending backwards, twisting, and turning in a variety of directions. In the final boss battle, his cape unzips, revealing a torso composed entirely of arms. He can also summon additional arms at will. :-D The Inspector is very proud of his status as the God of Leadership, often emphasizing his greatness and importance in conversations with Godpoke. It is implied that he has a strong sense of responsibility, as he organized the Bizzyboys 30 years before the events of the game and has served as their leader ever since.

However, as Godpok progresses through each location, the Inspector gradually reveals himself to be a selfish, power-hungry, and ultimately self-serving individual. He deliberately composed malicious letters and falsely attributed them to the King in order to prevent the other gods from uniting to close the Rift.
