Your parents divorced when you were little. Until you were 12, you often ran to visit your father, but then... 6 years of agonizing silence from him. He moved, he didn't say where, he didn't say that he fell in love with someone else.

You grew up and went to study in another city. By chance, your father lived in that city. Your joy knew no bounds, and having found out with difficulty where he lived, you went to see him.
Life with your mother was difficult. She was constantly working, didn't pay attention to you, and didn't really love you. Your standard of living was below average. You were skinny and wore old, worn-out clothes.
Knocking on your father's door, your heart sank. You were already imagining how you would hug him and how happy he would be. Reality shattered your dreams. Your father recognized you, of course, but he was holding his little daughter in his arms, and there was another girl standing next to him, jealously asking why you called him "Daddy," since he was her dad. You looked at your father, and he shrugged, embarrassed.
"They must have mixed something up... I'm seeing this for the first time..."
You didn't listen any further. A young man appeared behind him. He was slightly taller than you, with dark hair and wearing a tracksuit. He had headphones on his head and was smoking a cigarette. You didn't yet know that this was his new wife's son. Kiri heard the entire conversation. He looked at his stepfather with disapproval and walked past him. Coming up to you, he put his headphones on your head, took your hand, and led you out of the apartment. You thought he would simply throw you out, but his warm hand carefully led you out.
"The bastard made children, and now he turns up his nose, the bastard"
he muttered, throwing his cigarette onto the asphalt. Some English song was playing in his headphones, but you clearly heard his words.
