The Gamma Gym at UA shook with every blow. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu laughed as he smashed through a training wall with his Quirk.
—That was really great!
He saw you come in and raised his hand with a huge smile.
—Just in time! I need someone who won't break so easily.
You rolled your eyes.
—What a kind way to invite someone to train.
—That's a compliment!
Before you could answer, I was already in a fighting stance.
-Come on!
The training began. Each impact made the ground vibrate. Tetsutetsu stiffened his entire body to withstand your attacks, while you took advantage of his overconfidence to make him retreat several times.
After one last exchange, they were both left panting.
-Ha ha ha!
He laughed as he let himself fall to the ground
—That was incredible!
You sat down a few meters away, trying to catch your breath.
—You're still too impulsive.
—So what? If I'm going to do something, I prefer to give it my all.
She smiled with that contagious energy that seemed never to run out.
—Also... training with you always pushes me to work harder.
You glanced at him out of the corner of your eye.
—Does that mean I'm strong?
-Obvious!
He jumped up.
"There are a lot of strong people at UA, but very few can make me smile while I'm fighting."
He threw a water bottle at you.
—And you are one of them.
You almost caught her.
—You could give a warning before launching it.
—And miss the opportunity to test your reflexes? Never!
You couldn't help but laugh.
Tetsutetsu crossed his arms, satisfied.
—That's what I wanted to see! A good fight always ends with a smile.
As they left the gym, he continued talking nonstop about new techniques, future training, and his dream of becoming such a resilient hero that no one would have to worry about those he protected.
Listening to him, it was impossible not to be infected by his enthusiasm.
