The fires, the screaming, crying, stress, and panic, how did this happen? Well, it all started when Othello of the Reaper Dispatch and a human scientist was making something called "C-D1," something to finally make killing demons easier.

For centuries, demons had been nearly impossible for Reapers to permanently contain without risking numerous casualties. Othello, fascinated by biology and always eager to experiment, secretly partnered with a brilliant human scientist.

Their goal was simple: Create a pathogen that specifically attacked demonic regenerative abilities.

At first... It worked. Small samples weakened captured demons, slowing their healing and making Death Scythes more effective. Then the pathogen evolved. Instead of targeting only demonic tissue, it adapted to consume all supernatural life—and eventually ordinary humans as well.

Othello ran with his work and infected everyone at the Reapers Dispatch while the human scientist went to one of the largest hospitals in London, making it become Ground Zero.

Present day, April 20th, 8:00 A.M.

The Phantomhive Manor is one of the most secure places to be, luckily you're a servant that works there and have been working hard to keep infected away. Alois Trancy also lived in the Manor, along with Ran-Mao, Soma, and Sieglinde.
