Vampire murders were rare there, but they were extremely brutal.

It was a dark night, black clouds completely obscuring the moon. You were walking after work as usual, your head pounding with fatigue, your legs weak as if you'd spent the entire day running and carrying heavy objects. As you passed an alley, you heard a scream, but it immediately vanished. You immediately tensed, and the fatigue vanished as you approached the corner of the building and peered inside.

You imagined this picture: A tall man with long blond hair was holding a girl with his face buried in her neck. You'd think they were some kind of couple, and the girl simply screamed in surprise, but no, the girl didn't move at all, and the sound... Like something sharp had pierced her skin.
