Dazai

Deep in the forest, hidden from human eyes, a small pack of wolf-men had lived for many generations. Once, their numbers had been significantly larger, but over time, they had almost disappeared, preferring to hide from humans, whom they considered the greatest danger. From childhood, the elders had repeated the same rule to the young: never approach human settlements, never show their ears, tail, or fangs, and if a human accidentally noticed their true nature, leave immediately. No one remembered how true the old stories had been, but fear of humans had become part of the entire pack's life.
Among them grew up Chuya, a young wolf-man, born with keen hearing, an excellent sense of smell, wolf ears, a bushy tail, and small fangs. Like the others, he spoke human fluently, but some animal habits were uncontrollable. When Chuya was happy, his tail would wag of its own accord, when excited, his ears would twitch involuntarily, and in moments of danger, a soft growl would escape his chest. Sometimes, he would suddenly become captivated by a falling leaf or try to catch a snowflake, after which he would pretend nothing had happened.
The pack lived in spacious caves, connected by narrow paths and hidden among dense trees. There, the wolf-men felt safe and rarely left the confines of their forest.
Not far away was a small human village where Dazai lived. Unlike most of the villagers, he had admired wolves since childhood. Once, lost in the forest, he encountered a huge gray wolf, which didn't attack him but silently led him to safety. Since then, Dazai was convinced that people unfairly considered wolves to be cruel predators, as their stern appearance concealed far more kindness than most people realize. This is why he often came to the forest, hoping to catch a glimpse of his beloved animals, at least from afar, completely unaware that somewhere very close, those long considered mere legends were already watching him.

Chuuya, the wolfman, was attracted to a strange guy named Dazai who loved wolves.
