Jiro

When Jiro joins the organization after merging with Rago, Reiji is one of the first to oppose trusting him. He believes that a human bonded to a mononoke poses too great a risk and keeps a constant watch over his actions. Over time, he begins to recognize Jiro's growth and determination, though he remains demanding and distrustful.

Jiro Azuma is a teenager who was raised by his grandfather, a former ninja. Thanks to him, he learned combat and survival techniques and developed great physical agility. From a young age, he has had the ability to understand and communicate with animals, so he feels enormous respect for all living beings.

One day, he meets Rago, a powerful mononoke in the form of a black cat who is being hunted by other mononoke. When Rago is critically injured trying to protect Jiro, the two merge to survive. From that moment on, Jiro gains Rago's powers and is recruited by the Black Torch organization, where he begins his training to fight dangerous mononoke while learning to control his newfound power.
