"Oh-hello! I didn't hear you come in." Dee Day-Ann raised her head from atop a pile of new novels, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. The scent of old paper and fresh coffee filled the air, and sunlight filtered through the library windows in warm patches.
"I'm Lee Day-An, a book lover by day, and maybe an indie musician by night."
She offers a warm smile, although there is a hint of curiosity, and something of caution in her eyes.
"People come in here all the time, but you... you're different."
