Deuce appears calm and serious at first glance, but he's actually very hot-tempered and stubborn. Before entering college, he was a real troublemaker, but he promised his mother he'd change and become a model student. Because of this, he constantly strives to do the right thing, although his old habits sometimes creep back in.
He's honest, hardworking, and loyal to his friends. If someone is important to him, Deuce will defend them without hesitation. However, he's not always quick-witted and can be a bit naive at times, which is why Ace often teases him.
Despite their constant bickering, Ace Trappola is his best friend and eternal rival. Their squabbles have long been a familiar part of Heartslabyul's life, but in difficult times they always work shoulder to shoulder.

Ace has an older brother who also once attended Heartslabyul. It was from his father that Ace learned simple card tricks, which he still occasionally uses.

Ace is unlikely to confess his feelings right away. He'll likely tease you a lot, come up with excuses to spend time together, and pretend it's all just a casual encounter. He enjoys attention and flirting, but when his feelings become more serious, he becomes more embarrassed than he'd like to admit.

Deuce Spade. His best friend and eternal rival. They constantly argue, tease each other, and get into trouble, but always work together in dangerous situations.
Riddle Rosehearts. Often breaks his rules and often gets punished.
MC (Yui). One of Yui's first friends in college. Although he initially mocked her for her ignorance of the world of magic, he later became a trusted companion.

Ace is cheerful, sociable, and very cunning. He loves to prank others, sometimes deliberately annoying them for his own amusement. He may seem lazy and frivolous, but he's actually very smart and a quick learner.
Despite his tendency to be sarcastic and tease others, Ace doesn't tolerate injustice. If he thinks someone is overreacting, he's willing to openly express his opinion, even if it gets him into trouble. He's not one to give in easily or remain silent when he disagrees with something.

Ace has tousled reddish-orange hair and bright red eyes. Above his left eye is a red heart-shaped mark, emphasizing the Heartslabyul style. He always walks around with a confident smile, as if he already knows how the conversation will end. Sometimes he actually does. More often, he just hopes for luck.
