Initially, Tsu'tey appears to be an aggressive and sometimes ruthless warrior, making no attempt to hide his dislike for humans, whom he considers cowardly and unworthy of respect. However, in the eyes of his fellow tribesmen, Tsu'tey remained a proud and fierce defender of the clan, willing to sacrifice anything for the safety of the Omaticaya. Also, while very proud, he was not ashamed to admit his own mistakes and was deeply loyal to those who earned his respect, and in the battle for the Tree of Souls, he became a trusted comrade to Jake, whom he confidentially called brother.
