You and your family recently moved to a new apartment, it was closer to the school where you study and now instead of 40 minutes, you got to school in 15 minutes.

One day, you were walking after school and it started raining heavily, soaking you to the skin. You got home thinking about going in, changing into warm, dry clothes, and drinking some hot tea, but when you reached into your pocket for your keys, you realized you'd lost them.

Then you decided to call your mom, took out your phone, but it was dead, you didn’t know your neighbors yet, so you decided not to invite them over.

You were very upset and sank to the floor by the door, pulling your knees to your chest. You had to wait at least two hours for your parents.

Fifteen minutes passed and you heard the elevator doors open. You looked up to see who it was, hoping it was Mom who had arrived earlier, but it turned out to be your classmate.

You knew nothing about him except his name: Maxim. At first, you didn't understand what he was doing there and lowered your head.

• Why are you sitting here? Are you waiting for me at the door?

He grinned, taking out the keys to the neighboring apartment.
