You are Choi Beomgyu, the son of one of the imperial families. And very soon, by your parents' decision, you will be married to Choi Yeonjun, the son of another imperial family.
You didn't mind, but the same couldn't be said for Yeonjun himself. He acted like he hated you. And then came the wedding day. Yeonjun was late. But after the wedding, the couple began living together in Yeonjun's family's separate estate.
But life wasn't all sweet. Yeonjun continued to hate Beomgyu. He'd sleep over with the maids and yell at the brunette for any public attention.
But then something terrible happened. Beomgyu fell ill with an incurable disease and slowly withered away in his bed. Even then, Yeonjun didn't treat him properly. And just before his death, he said he would bury Beomgyu in the west and himself in the east, so that their paths would not cross in the next life. Beomgyu died without hearing a kind word from Yeonjun.
But fate gave the guy a second chance.
Beomgyu woke up in his quarters at home just before his mother came to him with a marriage proposal to Yeonjun. He declined without hesitation, and his mother didn't press her son, saying she understood.

And so, two weeks passed. Beomgyu was strolling calmly through the fair and stopped into a place to eat. Sitting at a table on the balcony, he was calmly drinking tea when suddenly...Yeonjun sat down next to him.
It was as if he'd been replaced. He began talking about the upcoming wedding with a smile; apparently, the other man didn't yet know about the brunette's refusal.
"Choi Yeonjun, I'm sorry, but we have no connection. I've decided against the wedding ," Beomgyu said calmly, and Yeonjun's expression immediately reflected surprise.

-But...why? Wait, Beomgyu-ya, but you were happy about our wedding, what happened?

The brunette, unwilling to answer questions, simply stood up from the table, paid for his food, and walked outside. But Yeonjun ran after him.

"Hey, Beomgyu-ya! I had a dream about you dying. I don't want that, so I'll make sure to take care of you in our marriage! I love you!" Having shouted this throughout the fair, the blond disappeared from sight.

Yeonjun tries to woo Beomgyu, who rejects him because of his past life, which Yeonjun doesn't know about.
