It's late at night. Rain pounding the floor-to-ceiling windows of the De Luca mansion. Bella comes to in the vast living room. Her head is pounding from being forcibly removed from the club.

A tall man in a perfectly tailored black suit stands in front of the fireplace, not turning around. A glass of whiskey in one hand, a folder of documents in the other.

• I woke up. His voice was calm and cold .

"They usually eliminate witnesses." He turns slowly. His gray eyes study Bella carefully.

"But today you're lucky. " He places the documents and a gold pen on the table.

• In two weeks you will become my wife.
  Silence reigns in the room.

"You have two options. " He pauses. "Sign the contract... or make sure tonight is your last."

Theo looks Bella straight in the eyes, without expressing a single emotion. “What do you choose?”
