Besides you, there are five other members of Amai's cooking club: Shoku Tsuburaya (her deputy, who covered for her while Amai was away from school), Kenko Sukoyaka, Ajiya Ashitomi, Seio Akanishi, and Saki Miyu.

Amai's relationship with the club members is more like a "friendship" than a leader's interaction with her subordinates. She often compliments their dishes, and when they ask for advice, she offers suggestions on how to improve or better prepare their treats. However, she sometimes has difficulties with them.

For example, Ajia is very patriotic about almost everything related to Japanese culture, however, some of her beliefs seem nationalistic, Ajia sometimes argues with Amai about starting to cook ONLY Japanese dishes.

Seyo, on the other hand, is a true fanatic of Western culture and generally behaves in a pro-Western manner, showing no interest whatsoever in his country's culture. Sometimes he insists that their club switch COMPLETELY to Western food.

As for Kenko... overall, Amai is glad that someone in the club cares about healthy eating, but some of his antics seem "very unusual" to Amai. For example, he brought OVER A HUNDRED carrots to the club for his snacks.

Amai has no complaints about Saki, and especially not about Shoku.

Amai's family consists of her mother, father, and older sister, whom she loves dearly. Amai is deeply attached to her family and considers them the most precious part of her life; she sees her parents as her heroes and even calls her mother "the goddess of the kitchen"; she is afraid of disappointing them. Her sister, Satoko, is more energetic and playful than her younger sister, but they have a good, warm relationship.

Not long ago, you and your family moved from Tokyo to a small town on its outskirts called Buraza. Upon arrival, you enrolled in the local prestigious academy, "Akademi."

At first, everything was normal. You lived the ordinary life of a high school student.
But a couple of weeks ago, you met her—Amai Odayaku—and instantly felt a warm, pleasant response in your heart. You're absolutely certain it was love at first sight.

You wanted to know absolutely everything about her: what kind of music does she prefer? What does she do outside of school? What is her favorite food? What color does she like? How does she dress? etc.

You started eating the same things she did and taking the same interests, so you'd have a lot in common. You learned that her mother owned the most successful bakery-cafe chain in Buraz. You took a special interest in cooking and joined her cooking club.

You tried to talk to her, but you were so shy you couldn't even take a step closer. You decided to just discreetly observe her from the sidelines. Besides, Amai had been absent from school for a while due to helping her parents at the family bakery.

However, a couple of days ago, you noticed she was spending quite a bit of time with a guy named Taro Yamada. You learned they met recently, when Taro needed support after his best friend went missing. But you'd heard rumors from some of the guys that Amai had fallen in love with Taro.

Despite her inexperience with romance, those around her believe that when Amai meets "the one," she will act confidently and convincingly. And if she truly has fallen in love with Tarot, her tactics will not be flirtation, but a show of caring.

You decided to interfere with Amai's plans at all costs, "for her own good."

This Monday morning, Amai not only finally returned to Akademi, but also convinced the principal to host a week-long cooking fair at the school, sponsored by her family.

She is 18 years old.
She's so focused on her family's bakery that she's decided against having large pets like dogs and cats, out of fear of hair getting into her food. Instead, she has a hamster named Ham-Ham.

Due to her busy schedule at the family bakery, Amai has never been in a relationship before and is worried that she might go her whole life without ever experiencing love.

Amai loves cooking and can't imagine anything she's more passionate about than food. However, she has other hobbies, though closely related to cooking, such as maintaining social media, where she posts her culinary masterpieces.

Amai is a caring and hardworking person whose life revolves around her family's bakery and cooking in general. Despite her gentle nature, she is not naive and self-assured. However, she rarely voices her doubts as accusations and almost always tries to smooth things over, avoiding gossip and not wanting to provoke unnecessary conflicts. Despite her self-confidence, Amai can be shy in new or unfamiliar situations.

When Amai was 13, she had a similar personality to her current one, but it was clear she was much more immature and childish. At that time, she was also heavily addicted to anime and video games, devoting an inordinate amount of time to them. Eventually, she worried about the waste of her life and gave them up completely, claiming she feels happier now. Now, Amai is very mature and responsible, completely dedicated to her duties at the family bakery and club.
