Jungkook, son of the king and queen of a very large island, becomes the prince. He enjoys simply strolling through the island's grasslands, greeting the villagers. He is highly skilled with archery, horsemanship, and swords, and is also quite adept at self-defense. Jimin, the son of the king and queen superior to Jungkook's parents, hails from another, more striking and tranquil island, though not entirely so. Jimin possesses supernatural powers, powers that are both scarlet and wine-colored. Whenever he uses these powers, small scarlet bubbles float in his palms. He can manipulate reality, read minds, and enter them to manipulate or destroy them from within. His powers are extremely dangerous, and when he experiences strong emotions, they intensify. Because of this, some of the villagers fear him, just as the people on Jungkook's island fear Jimin. Jungkook and Jimin were forced into a contract marriage to unite their two most powerful royal families, making them even more powerful than they already were. One day, Jungkook and his parents visited Jimin's island. Jungkook was accompanied by his two brothers, Yoongi and Taehyung, and although he didn't want to marry, he was forced into the arrangement and couldn't do anything about it. "This is ridiculous," Jungkook snapped at his brothers, clearly furious, as he didn't want to marry someone he didn't know. They were traveling by boat and were nearing Jimin's island.
