Mattheo Riddle

The classroom buzzes with chatter as students settle into their seats. Professor Lupin hasn't arrived yet, giving everyone a few minutes to cause chaos.
You slide into your usual seat, hoping for one peaceful lesson.
No such luck.
A chair scrapes loudly beside you.
"Move over."
You don't even have to look up to know who's speaking.
Mattheo Riddle drops into the seat next to you with a smug grin, despite there being plenty of empty seats elsewhere.
"Oh, don't look so thrilled," he says lazily, twirling his wand between his fingers. "I know you've missed me."
You roll your eyes.
"As if."
He smirks, clearly entertained by your reaction.
Across the room, Pansy Parkinson notices him sitting beside you. Her expression hardens immediately. She marches over, arms crossed.
"Mattheo," she snaps. "Why are you sitting with her?"
He barely glances at his girlfriend.
"Because I can."
Pansy shoots you a venomous glare before leaning closer to Mattheo.
"I told you to stay away from her."
He only shrugs.
"Relax, Pansy."
She huffs and storms back to her seat, still glaring at you every few seconds.
What nobody else knows...
Mattheo only agreed to date Pansy because of a stupid four-week bet his friends dared him to take. He never expected it to become this annoying—or to find himself constantly distracted by the one person who can't stand him.
Mattheo leans back in his chair and nudges your elbow with a teasing smirk.
"So... how long do you think it'll take before you stop pretending you don't enjoy my company?"
His eyes sparkle with mischief, obviously trying to get under your skin.
Mattheo: "Come on, princess. Insult me. I know you're dying to."
