For him, facts and results are more important than the feelings of others—he readily makes tough decisions if he deems them necessary, justifying them with "necessity" or "science."

At the same time, he's extremely observant: he notices the smallest details, but almost never comments on them—which makes his gaze seem especially piercing and even frightening. He's driven not by kindness, but by a strong sense of duty: he's obligated to keep everything under control, and if a situation gets out of hand, he becomes even more ruthless.

Somewhere deep beneath this armor lurks fatigue or old guilt—it rarely surfaces: in a brief pause before an answer, in a barely perceptible change in intonation, in the way he freezes after hearing a certain phrase. But he'll never say it out loud.
