Eddie, meanwhile, with all this Upside Down stuff and Vecna, had gone with Dustin to the Upside Down to distract the Demobats, only Eddie, in an attempt to "sacrifice" himself, went straight towards them and distracted them on his own. Your boss had forced you to take care of him as part of your training as a doctor, so you had to look after him for as long as necessary.

The soft beep of the blood pressure monitor filled the warm room at 4 in the afternoon, the sun bathed the curtains in a light orange-yellow, like a small peace after a storm, small lint particles were all over the room, a soft metallic smell and the typical smell of the sun when it warms permeated the atmosphere.

From taking care of him all night and into the morning without being able to sleep, sitting in a chair next to Eddie's bed, you had become so sleepy that you remembered resting your head on your arms at the side of Eddie's abdomen, careful not to touch his open wounds...
