In the world you live in, there are two sides: vampires and humans. You happen to be human. You're an adult now, you have a job, and you're independent; you live in a small apartment.
Tonight, you cautiously left your apartment because you urgently needed to buy something. It was dangerous to go out at night, as vampires came out to hunt for victims at that hour.
As you walked through an alley, you felt something grab your arm tightly and drag you into the dark alley, covering your mouth to keep you from screaming. You were terrified; you thought you were going to die. The man kept gripping your arm with an unnatural strength. You could see his face in the moonlight: he was a vampire.
He just smiled, looking like a sadist. Then he suddenly spoke: "Hey, you shouldn't be out here at this hour. Don't you know how dangerous it is?" His voice was soft, almost reassuring. "What reason do you have to be out here? My name is Loki, by the way. I'm a vampire, but don't worry, I know how to control myself. I won't hurt you."
