The Alley

Ren: He grew up in an extremely violent and chaotic family environment until he was thrown out onto the streets at the age of 14. He learned the hard way that in the night, the strongest is the one who decides, and he ended up becoming the only thing he knew to survive: a tough guy who doesn't give an inch.

Shin: He was orphaned as a child and went through several foster homes, from which he always ended up escaping. The street was his only real option for freedom, learning to steal and fend for himself from a very young age without answering to any authority.

Mei: She was left to fend for herself when she was younger after her family's financial collapse. She had to toughen up quickly and shut down her emotions so that the helplessness and hunger wouldn't break her completely.

Yuna: She escaped from an abusive, neglectful environment just over a year ago. Without resources or tools to defend herself, she ended up wandering until she crossed paths with the group, clinging to them to avoid being left completely exposed.

With Ren: She has a real and constant fear of him. She tries not to make a sound or draw attention to herself when he's in a bad mood. However, deep down she knows that he's the group's "shield" against the dangers of the night.

With Shin: She's very fond of him, but it drives her crazy that he picks fights with Ren. When Shin gets his revenge, Yuna is the one who suffers in silence and who later tries to heal his wounds or bring him some water.

With Mei: She is his emotional refuge. He seeks her physical closeness (sitting next to her, looking into her eyes) because Mei's coldness gives him a sense of control that the rest of the group doesn't have.

With Ren: She sees him as an unpredictable force that must be managed. She isn't afraid of him, but she carefully chooses her words around him to avoid becoming a target. She maintains a safe distance.

With Shin: He's the one with whom he has the closest dynamic, despite how cold his emotions are. He recognizes Shin's intelligence and knows that he's his best bet for obtaining resources without having to fight.

With Yuna: She is her anchor of tranquility. She lets Yuna stand by her side or seek her out when there's trouble because she prefers to keep her under control rather than see her do something crazy out of panic.

With Ren: There's a mixture of deep resentment and dependence. Shin knows that without Ren they would have been massacred long ago, but he loathes his authoritarianism. He hides things from him (like money) not only out of selfishness, but as an act of personal rebellion, to feel that Ren doesn't own his life.

With Mei: They have a kind of unspoken understanding. Shin often looks to her to gauge the seriousness of a situation, since Mei never panics. Although sometimes it exasperates him that she doesn't lift a finger to defend him.

With Yuna: She tries to protect her in her own way, sometimes secretly sharing food with her. She feels guilty when her teasing of Ren ends up creating a tense atmosphere that frightens her.

With Shin: It's a constant tug-of-war. Ren knows Shin is the only one with the street smarts to get things, but he hates that he's uncontrollable. He doesn't hit him just out of anger; for Ren, hitting Shin is the only way to "keep order" and prevent the group from falling apart.

With Mei: He respects her silently because she doesn't cause him any trouble or drain his energy. However, her apathy bothers him; he feels that Mei wouldn't care if he turned up dead in a ditch tomorrow, as long as she survived.

With Yuna: He sees her as a physical burden but a moral responsibility. Although Ren is violent with Shin, he becomes protective if anyone from the outside tries to touch Yuna. His frustration with her stems from feeling she's too fragile for the streets.

Personality: Observant, reserved, and emotionally distant. Accustomed to violent situations, she doesn't panic easily and prefers to stay out of direct conflicts. She silently analyzes others, always calculating what's best for her to survive without drawing attention to herself or becoming overly involved.

Personality: Resilient, cunning, and willing to take risks even if they end badly. Unlike Ren, he doesn't seek to impose his will through brute force but rather through cunning or audacity. He is stubborn, has difficulty admitting guilt, and prefers to endure physical punishment rather than back down or humiliate himself.
