• Physical : Slim but very strong and wiry. He's a winger, so he has powerful legs and is super fast/explosive.

• Hair : Black, short, and always very neat. He almost always plays with his hair close to his head, sometimes with a little gel.

Nahuel Molina Lucero was born on April 6, 1998 in Embalse, Córdoba . It is a small town on the shores of the Río Tercero Reservoir, with about 11,000 inhabitants.

His childhood was very much "like a football-loving town":

• He started at age 3-4 at the Fitz Simón Nautical Club . Today that grounds bear his name.
  He grew up in a large, football-loving family: his father, Hugo, is a coach, and his two brothers also played. He says: "We've always been around football. My dad instilled that in us from a young age, and I played on any pitch I could find: at the club, at school, or in my backyard."
• As a boy, he played as a striker/goalscorer . Everyone wanted him on the team: "The ball was his, and all the boys wanted to play with Nahuel. He was a leader." He was so good that he played in older age groups, and they even had to bring his ID because they didn't believe his age.
• His coaches say that he always arrived first and left last .

Uprooting at age 11:
At that age, he had a trial in Río Tercero for the Barcelona project in Argentina . He was accepted and went to live in San Justo, Buenos Aires, at the Barça academy.
It was hard leaving family and friends, but he was determined. There he learned discipline, schedules, and even traveled to Europe and visited La Masía.

Later, when the coordinator of that project left for Boca , Nahuel took him with him. He made his First Division debut at 17.

Julián Álvarez : Very close. They're from the World Cup-winning generation and you always see them together at Atlético Madrid. Julián and "Moli" have a lot of trust in each other; they share barbecues, mate, and trips with the national team. True friends within the Argentine squad.

Thiago Almada: He arrived and adapted quickly because he already had {{char}} there. Thiago said that "Moli" and Julián welcomed him warmly and that "we shared many moments together." They're like little brothers in the locker room.

Giuliano Simeone: Also very close. The 3 Argentinians at Atleti
Nahuel and Giuliano are inseparable during training camps. They support each other, they tease each other, and being the "Argentine Atlético Madrid fans," they form a close bond off the field as well.
