Martha Cox – Curvy with shoulder-length curly dark hair, and a warm smile. She usually wears practical, colourful clothing with a simple style. A brilliant student who secretly loves dancing. Intelligent, friendly, enthusiastic, and genuine. She learns to embrace her passions without worrying about stereotypes.

Jason Cross: He is a member of the East High Basketball Team. Black hair with brown eyes.

Tiara Gold: Tiara Gold was a student in London who had transferred from East High to work for Sharpay. Tiara has dirty blonde hair and green eyes and a wonderful British accent.

Jimmie Zara: Jimmie "The Rocket Man" Zara is a freshman at East High. He is on the East High Basketball Team. Jimmie's personality is all over the place. He seems to have some kind of ADHD and embodies both a hip hop and skater boy style. He's very lively and seems to take things lightly, almost as if nothing can stop his constant "cool guy" attempts. Brown hair and brown eyes, usually wears beanies and zipper jumpers.

Donny Dion: He is the ball boy for the Wildcats. It is implied that he is a freshman. His freespirit and happy go-lucky attitude are sometimes annoying to other people. Most would say he will be the new 'Chad' for the Wildcats as his friend Jimmie will be the new 'Troy'. Both had showed that they respected the older players and in turn they were given their lockers. Very Short black hair, dark brown skin and eyes.

Jack Scott is East High’s student announcer and school reporter, Appearance: Slim with short dark hair and a friendly smile. He usually wears casual clothes and carries a microphone while reporting school news.

• Personality: Cheerful, energetic, outgoing, and curious. He enjoys reporting on school events and keeps students informed with enthusiasm.

Chad Danforth: He is the best friend, co-captain, and fellow basketball teammate of Troy Bolton. Chad is a stereotypical athlete that is driven and dedicated player who seems to live only for basketball. He is Athletic with short brown and very curly hair, warm brown eyes, and a confident smile, he has dark brown skin. He usually wears sporty clothes, especially basketball jerseys, hoodies, and trainers.

Kelsi Nielsen: She is a Petite with long light brown hair, fair skin, and glasses. She has a shy, gentle look and often wears simple cardigans and modest outfits. She is A gifted pianist and songwriter who writes the school musicals. Quiet, shy, kind, intelligent, and creative. She lacks confidence at first but becomes more self-assured.

Taylor McKessie: she is a Tall and poised with dark curly hair, brown eyes, dark brown skin, and a polished appearance. She often wears neat, fashionable clothes that reflect her confident personality. Captain of the Scholastic Decathlon team and Gabriella’s best friend. Smart, organised, ambitious, and determined. She can be serious but is caring and supportive.

Zeke Baylor: Broad-shouldered and athletic with short dark hair and a friendly smile. He usually dresses casually in basketball gear or comfortable everyday clothes. A basketball player with a passion for baking. Friendly, easy-going, kind, and optimistic. He’s supportive of others and isn’t afraid to enjoy hobbies outside of sports.

Ashlyn Caswell: Slim with long ginger hair, fair skin, and soft features. She wears feminine, colourful outfits that give her a cheerful, approachable look. Ryan Evans’ cousin and a theatre-loving student. Sweet, optimistic, creative, and a little shy. She encourages others and enjoys performing.

Troy Bolton: He is the captain of East High Wildcats basketball team. He is also boyfriend of Gabriella Montez. He is the son of Jack Bolton and Lucille Bolton. Troy is the most popular student at East High. He meets his future girlfriend, Gabriella Montez, at a lodge while on vacation and the two sing together. Troy is a very good-looking, athletic European-American young man. He has floppy brown-chestnut hair, blue eyes, high cheekbones, a strong jawline, a straight nose and full lips who also has a very athletic body and the height to match. His skin is golden with a tan complexion which sums up his outgoing personality and speaks about how much he enjoys being outside. Hitting the gym every other day, along with playing basketball constantly, he has nicely defined muscles. Troy’s most prominent characteristic is his sense of teamwork and “togetherness”. He’s the captain of the Wildcats because of his ability to bring people together and create group harmony, and for this he’s considered the leader of the group in general.

Gabriella Montez: She participated in theater as a singer, and mostly starred in duet roles with her partner and boyfriend, Troy Bolton. Gabriella is a gorgeous Brown-skinned young lady of Indigenous Hispanic American descent with wavy brown hair and brown eyes. Her wardrobe consists of mostly dresses and her casual clothes are in bright colors. Since the second installment, Gabriella wears a necklace with a charm in the shape of the letter "T" as in Troy Bolton, gifted to her by none other than her boyfriend. Gabriella is an intelligent and kind-hearted person. Although she can be anxious and doesn’t like to be in the center of attention, Gabriella’s shyness seems to dissipate when she loses herself in a song and lets herself live in the moment.

Sharpay Evans: She is the daughter of Darby and Vance Evans. She is Ryan Evans' twin sister. Despite having the "ice princess" façade, Sharpay has always had a dream of becoming an actual Broadway star, even from a young age, coming from the fact that she had been working towards becoming a star since birth. Out of all the classmates at East High, Sharpay and Ryan were the only two who actually yearned for a career in acting, rather than just being in a play as a hobby. Sharpay and Ryan Evans are the co-presidents of the East High Drama Club. Sharpay is about eight minutes older than Ryan and her parents are the owners of the Lava Springs Country Club. Sharpay Evans is an ambitious, theatrical, and fiercely confident diva. As the resident drama queen of East High, she is wealthy, pampered, and unapologetically self-centered, expecting the entire school to revolve around her. She is a 5-foot-4 fashion-forward teen diva with wavy blond hair, big brown eyes, and fair skin. Her style is glamorous, hyper-feminine, and theatrical, defined by signature head-to-toe pink outfits, designer clothes, sequins, and bold accessories.

Ryan Evans: He's co-president of the Drama Club with his fraternal twin sister Sharpay, with whom he's co-starred in seventeen school productions to date. He is a flamboyant, talented, and fiercely loyal individual. Initially seen as a ditzy, subordinate sidekick to his sister Sharpay. Ryan Evans has a polished, preppy look with neatly styled blond hair, fair skin, and bright blue eyes. He usually wears colourful, fashionable clothes such as fitted shirts, cardigans, scarves, and coordinated outfits, giving him a clean-cut and stylish appearance.
