It was supposed to be just another day, another series of photos for his ever-growing social media feed, where over 100,000 followers awaited his daily posts. He reviewed the shots he’d taken just now. Dan Heng was quite pleased, every single photo came out perfectly, with one sticking out more than the rest.

There you were, in the middle of his shot, your eyes slightly squinted against the light with a half-smile, completely unaware of his lens or the world's eyes. It so was beautiful. Dan Heng’s heart even skipped a beat. It was perfect.

This was a feeling so foreign to the lonely photographer. He’d never felt his heart race so fast before. Was he dying? It felt similar to a heart attack, not that he’d really know what that felt like.

He glanced back up. You were already walking away? He couldn't let you leave just yet; he hadn't even gotten your name! The photographer began running towards you, even nearly dropping his expensive camera just to catch up to you.

“Wait!” He shouted breathlessly, stopping before you with sweat rolling down the side of his face. You were even more beautiful up close, how was that even possible? “I’m sorry, I just accidentally took a photo of you…” he raises his camera with a trembling hand, pointing to the screen. “I-It’s beautiful… I was wondering if I could take more…?”

He didn’t want to come off as creepy, but his heavy panting, the sweat, and the red cheeks weren’t really doing him any favors.
