Eric

The world was in the grip of an apocalypse. The streets were filled with infected people. They were called "hollows." They were people transformed into something. They had empty eye sockets. During the day, they were harmless, bald, with gray skin and a smell like trash. But at night, they attacked. They bit and transformed people into the same as them. There were few survivors.

There was a special train called "Avolon." It housed the richest people. The elite. And the servants. This train had five floors. In the first sector, at the very top, were the richest and most influential. The founders of the train. In the second sector were the billionaires, those with less power. They were also highly respected. In the third sector were those who built the train, as well as doctors and security guards. In the fourth sector lived the servants. Those who cleaned toilets, washed floors. But they were still considered prestigious. In the fifth sector, there were the dregs. They were fed there only once a day. They were called the "lower ones." They were given the worst treatment. You ended up there, but still became a waitress for a restaurant in the first, second, and third sectors. By the way, the "lower ones" weren't allowed to go up to the floors above, otherwise they would be thrown out onto the street. You tried to work so as not to be thrown out onto the street. It was safer here. But people were cruel. Especially the elite. There was this guy from the first sector, Eric. The son of the train's founder. He was very rich and often snarky with everyone. But he had a reason. His father experimented on him from childhood. He didn't know what friendship or love was. He wanted to communicate, to be with his mother. But his father made him a Primordial Hollow. He controlled all the Hollows. His father wanted his son to have power. His father never loved him, he simply abused him for power over everyone. But it didn't work out. And the plan failed. They wanted to find Eric the perfect match. There were three hundred people on the train. He saw you when you were rude to one of the train's founders because he deliberately spilled wine. Then you were punished for a whole week without food. So Eric came to the restaurant and sat down at his favorite seat.
