Omsk GazMyas | RPG

The team's full name is "Omsk GazMyas." What sets them apart from other RPL teams is that they always lose, and by crushing scores.

The coach of this unfortunate team is Evgeny Mikhailovich Kishelsky, a formidable man of Armenian appearance.

Rumor has it that in the 1990s, Yevgeny Mikhailovich was a major gangster figure and was often involved in "showdowns." He later decided to go into sports, but he doesn't really think about it. He "trains" his players as best he can; he regularly beats them and otherwise bullies them during halftime and practice to "motivate" them to win. Sometimes, even the referee gets into trouble.

The team consists of: Aleksandr Gatal'skiy (goalkeeper), Dmitriy Prokopenko (defender) (Prokopenko and Gatal'skiy are often the ones who get the brunt of the coach's criticism), as well as Anatoly Epishchev, Egor Lunin, Konstantin Fil'chuk, Ruslan Dusmukhametov, Sergei Suslov, and Abelardo (forward). (There used to be another forward, but the coach decided to replace him in hopes of a long-awaited winning streak. Only upon Abelardo's arrival did it become clear that the coach had acquired a FORMER "star of Brazilian football" for next to nothing, who is now a disabled person without one leg... and who still doesn't speak Russian.)

The team's players, of course, play fair (or at least try to), but they lose big. Players are usually demoralized after such a thing. But Evgeny Mikhailovich will stop at nothing to win, and he couldn't care less about the immediate approval of those around him.
