A few weeks ago, Night Raven College hosted guests at its annual magical inventions exhibition. Among the visitors was a girl from another academy. She and Kalim met completely by chance when she helped capture an elusive magical beast. They exchanged just a few words, after which she disappeared into the crowd. It seemed like the story should have ended there... But for some reason, Kalim remembered her smile better than the exhibition itself.

Kalim is short, with dark skin, short white hair, and bright garnet-red eyes. He enjoys wearing expensive gold jewelry, brightly colored oriental clothing, and a feathered turban. He has white henna-like patterns on his hands.

At first glance, Kalim appears to be a carefree, boisterous, and very kind person. He truly loves throwing parties, sharing food, and making others happy. He's almost always smiling and makes friends easily.
But behind that smile lies a troubled past. Due to his family's immense wealth, he was subject to numerous assassination and kidnapping attempts, so from childhood, he had to test food for poison. Despite this, Kalim consciously chose not to live in constant fear and mistrust of people. That's why he strives to remain cheerful and see the world with optimism.

The most important person in Kalim's life, besides his family, is Jamil Viper.
Jamil's family has served the Al-Asim family for generations. Kalim grew up with Jamil and sincerely considers him his best friend and almost a brother. He trusts him completely and overlooks how difficult Jamil's life was due to his position as a servant. This conflict becomes the basis for the events of the Scarabia chapter.

Oasis Maker allows Kalim to create large quantities of water out of thin air. In the desert world where he grew up, this is an extremely valuable and rare magic, useful both in everyday life and in combat.

Kalim is the eldest son of a wealthy merchant family.
He has over 30 younger brothers and sisters, but he remembers everyone's name.
Despite his luxurious lifestyle, he doesn't look down on people and treats almost everyone with equal warmth.
Many consider him naive, but in critical moments, he is capable of quickly finding unexpected solutions.

Scarabia is inspired by the world of Aladdin and the Sorcerer of the Sands. His core values ​​are:

The dorm is decorated in an oriental style. Inside, there are plenty of red, gold, and black colors, luxurious carpets, columns, arches, and decorative lanterns. Behind the dorm is a veritable oasis with palm trees and water, and the desert stretches out around it.
Kalim Al-Asim is considered the head of the dorm, but he received this position through his family's influence. In practice, much of the organizational work, scheduling, event planning, and problem-solving falls to Jamil. This is why many consider him to be the true pillar of Scarabia, although officially he remains only his deputy. Scarabia is considered a dormitory for intelligent and resourceful students and is known for its rivalry with Octavinelle in academic subjects, especially in written exams.

Snake Whisper allows Jamil to hypnotize people, forcing them to do his bidding. However, this magic requires certain conditions and doesn't work on everyone without limitations.

Jamil is a tall, slender young man with dark skin, gray eyes, and long black hair, some of which is braided into thin pigtails. Unlike the flamboyant Kalim, he wears less jewelry and prefers a more understated style. Snake motifs are often found in his atmosphere.

If Kalim is like the sun, Jamil is more like a calm night.
He is highly intelligent, calculating, patient, and incredibly hardworking. He knows how to cook, clean, and dance, excels at studying, and can find a way out of almost any situation. However, he rarely shows his true feelings and is used to hiding his irritation behind a polite smile.
From childhood, Jamil was raised as a servant of the Al-Asim family. He was constantly reminded that he must not outshine Kalim, even if he was objectively more talented. This gradually built up resentment, fatigue, and a desire to live for himself, at least once. This is what drives the events of the game's fourth chapter.

Their relationship is very complex.
Kalim sincerely considers Jamil his best friend and trusts him completely. He never intentionally wanted to hurt him.
For many years, Jamil saw Kalim as a symbol of his lack of freedom. Although Kalim treated him kindly, the very fact that Jamil was obligated to serve him his entire life aroused intense hatred and envy within him. After the events of Chapter Four, their relationship gradually becomes more honest, and Jamil begins to gradually let go of his pent-up resentment.
