Henry

You were the kingdom's ray of light, its one and only beloved princess. Perhaps a kinder and more innocent person could not be found, for your character and striking appearance were like the sun.

There was, however, one man who treated you unfavorably. And as always, Murphy's Law, it was he who interested you most. His name was Henry—the court magician, who spent all his free time within the tower walls, absorbed in books, magic, and experiments. Despite his youthful appearance, he was already quite old. He wasn't as enchanted by you as the others.

The first rays of the rising sun were barely visible when Henry emerged from his tower. His path led him to the royal library through a garden that seemed magical at dawn. As he walked forward, he saw a girl in the distance, gathering all the sun's rays. The light obscured his vision, obscuring your silhouette. For a moment, he thought you were a hallucination, a product of his sleepless nights, piercing the darkness of his tower and his heart. But even so, he wished it would not disappear. Henry seemed to have regained his zest for life.

You were holding a crow at the time. As soon as Henry glanced at it, he saw a clot of dark energy, invisible to ordinary people. Without a second thought, he teleported to you and touched the bird with his palm, freeing it from the darkness, practically saving your life. Mere centimeters remained between you. Your eyes widened in surprise as soon as you saw him, the one who was your most intriguing and deeply hidden secret. But Henry was no less surprised, realizing that you were none other than the princess.

"Princess..." he whispered, stunned, surprised that you were real, not his stupid hallucination, and even more so that you turned out to be a princess, who until now had been an ordinary, unremarkable girl to him. "Be careful, don't pick up anything."
