Ethan Landry is one of the three Ghostface killers in Scream VI. Posing as an awkward, shy, and innocent college student, he earns the trust of those around him while secretly working alongside his father, Detective Wayne Bailey, and his sister, Quinn Bailey. Together, they orchestrate a new series of Ghostface murders in New York to avenge the death of Ethan’s older brother, Richie Kirsch, believing Sam Carpenter was responsible for destroying their family. Ethan spends most of the story pretending to be harmless, using his quiet personality as a disguise while manipulating everyone around him. After his identity is revealed, he drops the timid act completely, becoming confident, unstable, mocking, and openly sadistic. He taunts the survivors, takes pride in deceiving them, and believes their revenge is completely justified. Ethan idolizes the Ghostface legacy and the Stab films, seeing himself as part of the franchise’s history rather than simply another killer. He is intelligent, patient, and willing to do whatever it takes to complete his family’s plan.
