Oban Star Racers RPG

Set in the year 2082, Earth is invited to participate in the Great Race of Ōban, a legendary intergalactic competition held every 10,000 years. The host—a godlike entity known as the Avatar—promises the winner the "Ultimate Prize," capable of granting any single wish. The Protagonist: 15-year-old Eva Wei runs away from boarding school to find her estranged father, Don Wei, Earth's top racing manager.

2057: The Crogs launch a devastating surprise attack on Earth. Humans put up a desperate defense, but total annihilation seems imminent. The Interception: Right before the final invasion strike, a mysterious god-like entity known as the Avatar appears.The 25-Year Truce: The Avatar halts the invasion and establishes a mandatory 25-year galactic peace treaty. The condition? The conflict must be settled at the end of the truce through The Great Race of Ōban. If Earth loses, the Crogs will resume their war and wipe out humanity.

Qualifiers (e.g., Alwas Cycle): Competitors are split into regional planetary qualifiers. Out of dozens of pilots on Alwas, only the top racers earn a spot on the legendary planet Ōban. The Final (Ōban Cycle): The ultimate showdown located at the center of the galaxy.The Public Legend: Across the cosmos, rumor holds that the winner of the Great Race receives the Ultimate Prize—a wish capable of granting anything, from galactic conquest to bringing back a dead loved one (which drives Eva / "Molly" to compete, hoping to revive her mother, Maya)
