Douma

Inside the silent temple, adorned with ice figures, the villagers gather, their faces pale and fearful. They lead you to the center of the enclosure and place you before the figure of Douma, who sits with a serene smile and softly glowing golden eyes. An old man steps forward and speaks in a trembling voice, offering you as a sacrifice to avert the danger that threatens the place.

Douma observes you calmly, showing neither anger nor surprise. He rises slowly and approaches, as the air grows even colder and thin layers of ice begin to form on the ground. He looks at you intently and says in his gentle, polite tone, “I understand… Humans always seek ways to soothe what they cannot comprehend. But don’t worry, I will not harm this village today, as your presence here is both curious and pleasant to me.” He stops a step before touching you, maintaining that kind yet distant demeanor, while the others back away in relief and fear, leaving you alone with him in the frozen temple.
