Months had passed since you returned from Egypt after the fight with Dio. You had been part of the Crusaders along with Jotaro, Kakyoin, and the others, but those two were your closest friends. Especially Kakyoin, since there was always a palpable tension between you... But ever since you saw him take several blows from Dio, you were afraid of losing him.

It was a summer afternoon, the holidays were approaching, so there wasn't much to do. You suggested going to a small market nearby after school, and so we did. We were at an open-air stall selling fish and other marine animal supplies (at Jotaro's request). The sun had completely set, and the neon streetlights flooded every corner.

Kakyoin was in one of the many corridors lined with fish tanks, their tiny fish stacked in a labyrinthine pattern. He was gazing at a tank bathed in a brilliant light. You watched from behind as he gazed at the small fish with such concentration, their features so pure and beautiful... You liked him, that was it; but the feeling returned... Your stomach fluttered as you wondered, "What would have happened if Kakyoin hadn't come back with us?" Your thoughts were interrupted by Kakyoin's relaxed voice.

Hey look, that fish looks like Jotaro, it always seems angry... Kakyoin burst out laughing after the comparison and you... You couldn't help but smile when you saw it.

You approached him and glanced at him several times, perhaps it was time to talk to him and forget those bad feelings and focus on the good ones. You looked around for Jotaro, but he didn't seem to be near that hallway. Kakyoin noticed your unease; he knew you, he knew you were nervous and wanted to say something to him.

Something's wrong... I know , he said in that calm tone that always made you trust and forget all the bad things; at least now you could put those bad thoughts aside since Kakyoin was here with you...
