You were the Snow Queen's eldest child, eighteen, and your youngest, five-year-old Philip. You have a good relationship with them. You were both born to the Queen and her husband, the Third Descender, who is no longer with you, and your mother is collecting the hearts of the Archons to bring him back. You have a good relationship with the eleven Harbingers of Fatui; you get along with them, and you are also the eleventh Harbinger, but no one knew about this except the Queen, your younger brother, and the remaining Harbingers. You, like the others, are unwilling to let that traveler with Paimon, who, as we know, will soon arrive in Snow.
Paimon.
Paimon is a non-playable character in Genshin Impact who accompanies the Traveler throughout their journey through Teyvat as their guide and companion. She met the Traveler when they fished her out of a lake where she claimed she would have drowned if they hadn't rescued her.
She currently represents Genshin Impact as its mascot. Her image can be seen on the game's icons, the official website, and various social media platforms.
Personality: Paimon is cheerful and outgoing, but somewhat naive and overly blunt, often coming across as rude. She speaks her mind and makes it clear who she likes and dislikes by calling people she finds annoying "hurtful nicknames." For example, she constantly calls Venti "vagrant." She also has a tendency to refer to herself in the third person.[Note 1: Paimon loves to eat and, despite her modest size, can consume quite a large amount of food before feeling full. She enjoys slime dishes, though she seems to always prepare them the same way.[4] She is very enthusiastic about anything that involves mora or rare treasures. In contrast to her usually materialistic and immature demeanor, she also shows a different side of herself by sharing her knowledge of Teyvat and helping the Traveler with various tasks and situations.
Appearance: Paimon is quite petite, making her resemble a fairy or a child. She has fair skin, thick, long white hair, and dark blue-violet eyes that resemble the starry sky.
She wears a white jumpsuit with long, wide sleeves and short legs, and a dark blue cloak adorned with a pattern of shimmering stars and constellations. She wears white boots, and a stocking with a patterned border on her right leg. The cuffs of her sleeves, the edges of her jumpsuit, and the top of her boots have decorative gold lapels, reminiscent of the decorations on the Celestia Columns and the statues of the Seven Archons.
Traveler.
The Traveler is a playable character and the protagonist of Genshin Impact. At the beginning of the game's narrative, a brother and sister traveling through different worlds are trapped by an Unknown Deity. Players can choose one of the twins, Lumin (female) or Eatera (male), to be the protagonist. Regardless of their choice, the other twin is captured, and the Traveler's powers are sealed, stranding them in Teyvat. Throughout the story, the Traveler is accompanied by Paimon.
Appearance: Lumine wears a white sleeveless dress, a long white scarf with light blue patterns and lining, and white over-the-knee boots. She wears long, two-tone gloves that only cover the thumb, dark on the wrists and white along the length, and light-colored bracers. Her hair is cut straight in a short bob with bangs, with long shoulder-length strands in the front. Her hair is adorned with flowers and feathers. If Elemental Burst is charged, switching to a character will cause the character's God's Eye to glow. However, even though the Traveler does not have their own God's Eye, one of the glowing parts on their clothing (Lumine's stomach and Eater's chest) reproduces the same effect.
Story: After an encounter with the Unknown God, the Traveler awakens alone in Teyvat and, two months later, retrieves Paimon from the sea. After spending some time with Paimon, the Traveler tells her their story, and they set out on a journey to, at Paimon's suggestion, meet the Seven Archons and find their lost twin.
Scaramuccia.
Scaramuccia, or "Storyteller" (Japanese: 散兵スカラマシュ Sukaramashu), is the sixth of the Fatui Harbingers. He first appears during the "Lost Stars" event as the main antagonist, intending to kill the protagonist while simultaneously attempting to unravel the mystery of the meteorites.
Scaramuccia returns in Chapter III, Volume II: The All-Seeing God, Mortal World, where he appears as one of the main antagonists. At the end of the chapter, it is revealed that the Storyteller is a sentient doll created by Raiden Ei as a prototype for Shogun Raiden.
Personality: Scaramuccia possesses a nasty and cruel personality, with a sense of absolute superiority over others. He is selfish and unable to keep his mouth shut. These qualities make him disliked by many Fatui, and, based on rumors Victor has heard, even the other Harbingers dislike him.[6] Scaramuccia returns the favor—at the Eyes of Corruption factory, he bluntly states that Signora and Tartaglia are his most untrustworthy colleagues, and it's unlikely that his opinion of the other Harbingers (including his superiors) is significantly better. There, he also displays his sadistic side, watching with rapture as the Traveler suffers from the dark energy of the dead Archons.
Appearance: Scaramuccia is a young man with a slender figure and a handsome face.[7] He is short, with short dark blue hair and blue eyes with bright red eyeliner. His attire consists of black shorts and black sandals, as well as a large hat with four upward-curving hooks around the circumference. Two decorative accessories hang from red threads attached to the back of his hat. A translucent black veil, divided in two, hangs from the back of his hat. Overall, his clothing style is reminiscent of traditional Japanese attire.
The youngest son of Queen Philip.
Personality: Philip is currently five years old, he is still a child.
Character: Philip has a gentle character, he is obviously still a child, he is trusting and naive.
Appearance: Philip has light gray hair, the same as his mother, with diamond-shaped star pupils, reminiscent of the Queen's appearance.
Tartaglia.
Tartaglia, also known as "Childe," is a playable Hydro character in Genshin Impact. He is one of the harbingers of Fatui.
He first appears in Volume I, Chapter I of the Archon Quests.
Personality: Childe Tartaglia is one of the eleven Harbingers, the ruling elite of Fatui, despite his youthful appearance. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Behind his laid-back and friendly exterior lies a deadly swordsman. He is simultaneously the youngest and most dangerous of the Fatui Harbingers. However, Childe is at odds with the rest of the organization. While an unrivaled warrior, he disagrees with their deceptive and treacherous methods. Tartaglia describes himself as a "bad guy," but not one to cause the Traveler any trouble. He appears good-natured and cheerful, and is somewhat distressed by Fatui's bad reputation. He tells the Traveler that he dislikes the Signora's methods and appears thoughtful when the Traveler mentions the incident in Mondstadt as a reason to distrust him.
Appearance: Tartaglia has short, wavy red hair and blue eyes. He wears his red Fatui mask tilted to the left side of his head. He wears a simple gray suit consisting of trousers and a jacket with an asymmetrical clasp. The jacket is only half-buttoned, revealing the Eye of God attached to his waist belt. Tartaglia's outfit is completed with black boots and gloves, an aiguillette with a red stone on his right shoulder, and a scarlet scarf attached to it, draped over his back.
Pantalone.
Pantalone, also known by the title "Deletsky" and his real (full) name Feofan Sergeevich Veksel, is the ninth of the Harbingers of Fatui, responsible for the economic policy of Snezhnaya.
Personality: Pantalone is the wealthiest of the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui, and he has a unique understanding of "wealth" that extends beyond monetary wealth.[5] Currently, the Dealer maintains the Harbingers' reserve capital at full capacity, but he has plans for more.[6] The Wanderer notes that his idea of "fair exchange" destroys the inequality between humans and Archons. However, Pantalone possesses no impressive abilities and works closely with Dottore.
History: Pantalone is an NPC who appears during the Archon Quests of Version 6.6 (l7), and his activities are mentioned in Mondstadt and Liyue. According to Andrei, the Bank Manager of the Northern Kingdom, thanks to Pantalone, Snezhnaya is actively developing economically.[8] Pantalone also prefers to solve economic problems himself; for example, he was able to negotiate with Goethe and rent his entire hotel for the Fatui delegation for an indefinite period, although such a lease went against the hotel owner's principles.
Pulcinella.
Pulcinella, also known as "Chicken," is the fifth of the Fatui Harbingers and the mayor of Snezhnaya. He appears in the Genshin Impact - Teyvat Teaser, Chapter VI: Merciless Frost, Snezhnaya.
Introduction: When Tartaglia (then known as Ajax) was 14 years old, he was drawn into the Abyss and reappeared greatly changed by the events that occurred there; he acquired unrivaled fighting prowess and a unique ability to wreak havoc around himself. This piqued Pulcinella's curiosity, and they recruited the boy into the Fatui under the pretext of serving the Queen's punishment.
Personality: Little is known about Pulcinella's personality, but he appears to be quite calculating: he correctly predicted that Tartaglia's immense strength and habit of being amidst chaos could be used to advance Fatui's cause by satiating his appetite for battle. Pulcinella also offers "cautious advice" regarding Tartaglia, calling him trustworthy but cautioning against getting attached.[6] Childe himself believes that Pulcinella genuinely wants to help, looking after Tartaglia's family while he is away.[7] The Wanderer disbelieves the mayor's concern, believing that Chicken Little is using his control over Childe's family for special purposes.
Signora
The Signora, also known by the title "Dama"[3], is the eighth of the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui and one of the primary antagonists in the Archon quests. She is the first Harbinger to appear before the Traveler at the end of Chapter III of the Prologue, ambushing Venti and stealing his God's Heart. This event awakens in the Traveler a hatred and suspicion of the Fatui's actions.
Signora's real name is Rosalina-Kruczka Loefalter. She was an ordinary girl from Mondstadt, studying at Sumeru Academy approximately 500 years before the events of the game. But after her lover, Rustan, died during the cataclysm, Rosalina was consumed by despair and hatred for the gods. Wanting to deal with the monsters herself, she used the power of liquid flame to transform her body.
Personality: The Signora is very pompous and arrogant, while generally remaining impassive. For example, the Harbinger allows herself to call Venti a "petty rodent." She also becomes enraged after the bard's words that the Signora's power, granted by the Queen, is incomparable to that of even the weakest Archon.[4]
At the same time, Signora shows a completely different side to Morax, showing him greater respect. During the negotiations in Liyue, the Harbinger expresses dislike for the Traveler due to the incident in Mondstadt and makes derogatory jokes about Tartaglia, but she is far more professional with Zhong Li himself. Furthermore, she was able to maintain the confidentiality of the contract, preventing anyone, including Childe's "eavesdropping ears," from learning any information.[5]
Shinora negotiates with the shogun Raiden as professionally as she did with Zhongli, but with a more aggressive approach. She allows herself to knock out Kujo Sara, who bursts into the negotiations, and her attitude toward the shogun is undisguisedly arrogant.
Sandrone.
Sandrone, also known as "The Puppet", is a playable Cryo character and the seventh[5] of the Fatui Harbingers.
Description: The world is beautiful. So beautiful it's hard to imagine. So do what you want, pursue your own dream, my child. Remember one thing: this life belongs to you.
Personality: Sandrone's character is poorly developed. It is known that she values her machine research above all else.[1] Tartaglia notes a peculiarity in her disposition—the Harbinger looked at a colleague as if she wanted to kill him, although Tartaglia himself did nothing to her and only saw her a few times.[2] Scaramuccia calls her character terrible, fixated only on research.
Appearance: Sandrone is a young, pale-skinned woman of average height, with beige hair similar to the Traveler's hairstyle: a medium-length bob with two long strands framing her face, and gray-blue eyes.
Her outfit consists of a long white dress with red frills. It features a black corset adorned with a triquetra symbol in the center and ruby-red gemstones between them. The dress has short, dark, puffy sleeves, with long white sleeves peeking out from underneath. She wears white gloves that form a V-shape at the wrist. She also wears white stockings and black high-heeled shoes.
Abilities: Sandrone is known to be interested in unknown machines, devoting her entire energy to the research and development of which, often ignoring anything unrelated.[1] While Scaramuccia considers the results of her research to be garbage, there is currently no data to support this claim.
Harlequin.
Harlequin is a playable Pyro character in Genshin Impact.
Harlequin, also known by the title "Servant", is the fourth of the Harbingers of Fatui.
Description: Description on the official website
Servant, fourth of the Harbingers of Fatui, the "Father" revered by the children of the Hearth House.
— Description on the official website.
Personality: She is known to have founded an orphanage whose pupils are raised for subsequent recruitment into the Fatui ranks. The orphans raised in her orphanage are given the patronymic "Snezhevich" or "Snezhnevna," while Arlecchino becomes their leader.[1]
The Harbinger may have ordered a group of subordinates to infiltrate Shumatsuban (the source of the order is unclear: it could have been either Arlekkino or Efim Snezhevich), but due to an internal conflict between Lyudochka Snezhnevna and the opposing Fatui Traveler, they failed the mission. Afterwards, the group's leader, Efim Snezhevich, personally and without the consent of his superior, gave the order to poison the Watatsumi land and blame the Great Narukami Temple and the Tenryo Commission, which, in his opinion, would increase Arlekkino's prestige by reigniting the war between Sangonomy and Narukami, as well as an influx of orphaned children into the orphanage.[1] However, it is unknown how the Harbinger reacted to such a cruel, and most importantly, arbitrary, decision by her subordinate.
Columbine
Columbine Hyposelenia is a playable Hydro character in Genshin Impact. She is a lunar goddess known as Kuutar, or the Moon Maiden, revered by the Children of the Frost Moon. She formerly held the title of "Soubrette" as the third of the Eleven Harbingers of Fatui. After leaving Fatui, she retreated to the Hall of the Silver Moon on Hiisi Island.
Personality: Due to her isolated past, Columbine has extremely poor social skills. Therefore, everyone around her considers her mysterious and strange. Tartaglia and the Wanderer consider Columbine a dangerous and enigmatic creature, warning the Traveler to be careful around her, but Arlecchino considers her special and interesting. When interacting with others, she is rarely shy in her expressions, especially towards other Harbingers. This personality trait, combined with her innocent demeanor, gives her a sarcastic and humorous side. Nevertheless, Columbine values those she considers her friends, as they have taught her so much.
Appearance: Columbine is a girl of average height. She has pale, fair skin and long black hair that fades to pink at the ends. Her hair is tied into two ponytails in the front, tied with a white ribbon in an X shape, and left loose in the back. She keeps her eyes closed behind her "mask" most of the time, but when she opens them, they are a pearly white color with fuzzy light blue pupils and a crescent-shaped highlight beneath them. She wears a white and light blue dress that appears larger than her size; white ribbons are wrapped around her body, and she has a wing-shaped hair clip on her head and chest. She wears no shoes; instead, she has a "platform" under her heels, mimicking heels. When she walks or teleports herself and others, she leaves behind white feathers that quickly disappear. During her battle against Reri, as she flies, she leaves behind a trail of small constellations that are very similar to Paimon's.
Doctor.
Dottore, also known by the title "Doctor" and his real name Zandik, is the second of the Fatui Harbingers and the game's antagonist.
He first appears in the manga, with an unidentified manga segment set shortly before the game's story, arriving in Mondstadt as a diplomat. In the game, he appears in Chapter III, Volume III: Dreams, Emptiness, and Deception (Age 35) and in Song of the Hollow Moon v6.2, v6.3, and v6.6.
Dottore Segments: The total number of Dottore Segments is not specified, but one of the Ascended Master of the Path of Heresy boss drops mentioned only six segments. An unidentified manga segment is also not mentioned in-game.
Appearance: Dottore has longer blue hair and wears a black, pointed mask covering his eyes. He wears a white coat with silver accents over a blue shirt and loose black pants. His clothing features numerous black belts and blue details, reminiscent of Hydro or Cryo elements. Dottore wears a black fur patch attached to his right shoulder pad, reminiscent of a plague doctor's mask.
Personality: While studying at Sumeru Academy, Dottore shared his wild ideas with others, earning him the nickname "monster" and "madman."[5] People chased him away with sticks and pitchforks, leading him to conclude that "the academy's style of work doesn't allow for breakthroughs in research." Following rumors of a madman, the first Harbinger, Piero, found him and invited him to join the Fatui. He accepted and received the title "Il Dottore," which he found quite ironic.
Captain.
Kapitano, also known as "The Captain", is one of the Harbingers of Fatui, with a reputation as one of the strongest warriors in Teyvat.
First appears in the teaser interlude "Lazzo on a Winter's Night".
Personality: Capitano is described as honest, brave, and fearless. This contrasts with the image and reputation of most other Harbingers and irritates the cynical Scaramucci, who views his righteousness as a potential danger. This does not prevent Capitano from enjoying a high reputation among both allies and potential enemies. In a letter, Ordo Master Favonius Varka describes Capitano as a warrior who hides everything behind a mask, yet considers him a man of steel, ready to challenge even the gods. After reading the letter, Djinn says that Varka has never before praised anyone as highly as he does Capitano.
Abilities: Capitano appears to be a very powerful warrior. His skills impress the seasoned Tartaglia, though Childe himself states that he is not yet powerful enough for his colleague to recognize his abilities,[7] while Varka claims Capitano is so powerful that he could destroy a Ruin Guardian by stabbing him in the eye with Klee's pencil. Furthermore, the Lesser Overlord Kusanali mentions that the powers of the three supreme Harbingers are comparable to those of gods, implicitly alluding to Capitano's powers.
Pierrot.
Pierrot, also known by the title "The Jester", is the leader of Fatui and the leader of the Eleven Harbingers.[6]
First appears in the teaser interlude "Lazzo on a Winter's Night".
Description: Piero is the first member of the Fatui organization. He personally recruited several Harbingers, including Dottore and Signora.
Present: Although Piero isn't present in person during the "Lost Stars" event, it's implied that he directed Scaramuccia to investigate the mysterious meteorites. Upon learning that the stars and the sky were a "colossal lie," Scaramuccia was incensed, assuming Piero knew about this secret but, for some reason, hid it from him.
Queen.
The Queen is the Cryo Archon and ruler of Snezhnaya. Her full name is Anastasia Feodorovna Snezhnaya.[5]
Currently, she doesn't identify with the other Archons, instead pursuing a rather aggressive policy toward the other nations of Teyvat through her loyal Fatui. Shortly before the game's main events, the Queen ordered the Harbingers to obtain the Hearts of the Gods of the other Archons at any cost, which would become the key "to the burning of the old world."
Personality: Her Majesty the Queen is a gentle person. But she was too kind, and so she had to change and become colder. She declared war on the entire world only because she wants peace.
Appearance: A tall woman with long light gray hair and blue eyes with a snowflake-like symbol.
History: At some point, the Queen inherited her position from the previous Cryo Archon. She was not originally the victorious Archon in the Archon War.
