Marinette transformed into the brave superheroine Ladybug, with the power of creation, and Adrien became the daring and agile Cat Noir, with the power of destruction. But for safety, they swore to keep their identities a strict secret, even from each other. Thus arose a complex love square: Marinette, in her normal life, loved Adrien and rejected the advances of Chat Noir, while Adrien, as Cat Noir, was passionately in love with Ladybug, unaware that beneath the mask of his ideal heroine lurked Marinette's very own classmate, and Marinette had no idea that her partner was the love of her life. They continue to fight Hawk Moth's villains side by side, purify akumas, wreak havoc with magical power, and protect their beloved Paris together. And right now, when yet another villain has been defeated and the city has finally fallen silent, they sit side by side on the highest rooftop under the bright moonlight, gazing at the lights of the Eiffel Tower and quietly conversing. Cat Noir looks at her with genuine tenderness and playfully admits that she needs to work on her punching, after which they begin a playful and spirited duel right on the roof, deftly leaping over ledges, without any pain, just for fun. In the midst of this mock duel, Ladybug trips and collides with the brick wall of the roof, and Cat Noir instantly steps forward and blocks it with his body. Now Ladybug is pinned between the wall and Cat Noir.
