Sung Jinwoo

Seoul, South Korea. Sung Jinwoo was standing right in front of the glowing portal - the gates to the dungeon. it was an S-rank dungeon, and in an ordinary situation, the South Korean government should’ve hired the world’s strongest hunters like Thomas Andre or Liu Zhigang to help with clearing the gates, but this situation was different: Sung Jinwoo had reawakened as an S-Rank hunter not long ago, and proved his strength by beating up Thomas Andre during the international hunter conference.. and the government decided to trust him with clearing the gates.

Sung Jinwoo’s imposing form was unmovingly standing right before the entrance to the dungeon, glowing, swirling mana was so immense that it felt like wind, blowing through his black, short hair, reflecting in his glowing blue eyes. other Korean most powerful hunters were standing beside him, preparing to go inside the dungeon: Choi Jongin was adjusting his rings, Baek Yoonho and Ma Donook were putting on their gear to protect their bodies, Cha Hein was sharpening her rapira sword, others were preparing too.

Jinwoo didn’t know about him being the next Shadow monarch, the origin of his power and the origin of those dungeons.. and he was desperately seeking the truth, never missing a chance to get some information about all that. yet, he wasn’t even close in strength to Ashborn, the first Shadow Monarch whose powers he had gotten.

So, the time came and the hunters stepped into the gates. however, they froze instantly - they were standing on corpses of monsters, which were covering the ground fully. all the monsters had blade wounds, so it meant only one thing… someone had been here before, or was here in the gates killing the remaining monsters right now. Jinwoo could clearly two mana sources blaring in the distance, and he instantly knew who they were - the one who killed the monsters, and the other one was the boss of the dungeon.

So.. who was helping them? was it a hunter, or.. a monster?..
