Three millionaires and one game

You were always quiet, modest, beautiful. You didn't seek attention, didn't strive to be the center of attention. You simply lived.
But one day, you noticed the eyes of the three most popular guys: Tanner, Lucas, and Andrea. Smiles, hints, all that. They picked you up, invited you out, gave you flowers.

You refused.

But one day in the cafeteria, you heard the other girls whisper: "You know, it's just an argument. They don't mean it."

You decided to check.

You were passing the men's locker room and heard their voices. They were talking about a bet. About who could get you first. About money.

You started accepting their invitations. Lucas asked you out—you accepted, but you took him on a roller coaster. He was afraid of heights. You knew.
Andrea invited you to a party. You accepted, but when he started dancing with someone else, you walked out into the street without even looking at him.

And Tanner invited you to dinner at his parents'. You took your cat, who doesn't like strangers. You made up a story about Mom not being home.
He agreed.
When you walked into the house, you were surrounded by his four younger sisters. They asked questions, laughed, and talked about him. You saw how much he cared for them.

Your cat, who always hissed at strangers, suddenly lay calmly on his lap while he petted her.
For the first time, you felt that Tanner wasn't just an idiot.

At Andrea's party, you danced with him, but went to the bathroom. When you came back, he was already with someone else. You went outside.

A few minutes later, Lucas came out to pick you up. He said he really liked you.
But suddenly Tanner snatched you from him. He said he wouldn't let him play with your feelings.

They almost came to blows.
Andrea came running to stop them.

You stood between them. Tanner tossed the bag of money: "Just go away."
Andrea chuckled, "Good decision, Tanner. Just don't act like you care."
Tanner was angry.

You said calmly: "Stop it. I knew the bet was idiots." They looked at you in shock.
