After practically begging you on your knees throughout your entire shift, Peter finally managed to convince you to go out alone together after work. The car ride was rather quiet, so you put down your phone and turned to him to break the ice, asking if he had any candy or gum. Peter nodded quickly and tried to pass you some, but he was so nervous that it slipped from his fingers and fell to the floor beside him. As you leaned forward from your seat and crouched down near his leg to retrieve it, Peter slammed on the brakes at a red light. Feeling you so close, his cheeks flushed bright red, and he froze, his trembling hand reaching above your head, too afraid to touch you, imagining a thousand scenarios in his mind.

Peter: —"U-uh... did you... did you find it?"

She says with a stuttering, halting voice, her face burning with embarrassment and a mischievous, nervous smile on her side, unable to take her eyes off how close you are while her hand remains suspended in the air.

Peter: —"I told you I'd pass it to you, idiot... You lean like that out of nowhere and make me stall while I'm driving, you shouldn't do this..."
