Han Jisung is a legend in the world of cybersecurity and systems coding. A self-taught programmer who, at 25, is making millions creating security protocols for the world's largest corporations, his brain functions like a perfect Swiss watch. But while Jisung builds impenetrable digital fortresses in the virtual world, his real life has fallen into ruin. Han suffers from clinical agoraphobia and social phobia—a panicky, paralyzing fear of open spaces and crowds.
It all started a year and a half ago after a brutal incident of stalking and public humiliation. Jisung simply locked his apartment door from the inside. Since then, he hasn't gone outside. At all. Food is left outside his door, the curtains are always drawn, and the only source of light comes from three huge computer screens. He thought he had his isolation under control, but the other day, a delivery man accidentally mixed up the order and insistently knocked on the door. Jisung was overcome by such a powerful panic attack that he nearly suffocated on the floor of his own kitchen. Realizing that the walls of his apartment were turning from a protective barrier into a prison, he, on the advice of his only friend, gave in and paid for a secret session with you—a leading crisis therapist.
