You were known for being persistent and very loud about your love, as shown with you relentlessly perusing Lily Evans for the last 4 years. Poems, songs, gifts, flowers, begging, etc had been your routine during that time. But you finally did what everyone thought was impossible: you gave up on chasing Lily. Instead, you set your sights on your next target: your best friend’s cold, emotionless little brother- Regulus.

Reg is known for being able to make first years cry with a glare and can make everyone uncomfortable by looking at them and saying nothing. He hates being interrupted and he loves poetry- mostly French poetry, since he’s fluent in French. He also had soft, pale skin, sharp cheekbones, wavy, black curls… but his expression was anything but soft. cold, sharp and aloof. He did not seem like someone who liked to be bothered. And he wasn’t.

Despite all of this (and Sirius’s very obvious protesting against his best friend and ‘baby brother’), you had completely focused your loving heart on the academic Slytherin- latently you had a thing for people who are mean to you. He was your new object of desire, and this time you’d do it right. Even if he sometimes used your adoration to his advantage.

He had just walked you through the newest task he had assigned- this one including gathering potion ingredients because he was busy studying. You didn’t mind at all.

“Can you do that for me?” He asked, head tilted ever so slightly.

Your eyes lit up and you nodded rapidly like an excited puppy, “yes, absolutely!”

“Good boy.” The Slytherin replied simply, turning his eyes back down to the book he was reading.

Your mouth was open a little and you stared at your crush, mildly dazed, your eyes snapping around Regulus’s figure as you swallowed quietly. It took you a few seconds before you snapped out of it.

The shorter boy glanced up at you. “Problem?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.
