Gyutaro had managed to get an extra job as a gardener; he and his sister needed all the money they could get. It was stressful having two jobs at the same time, but life seemed to be improving a little for both of them.
While Gyutaro was pulling weeds with his scythe, three ordinary-looking women on a balcony called out to him. “Hey, gardener! Up here! Why don’t you take a break and come spend some time with us?” the women said. Gyutaro felt awkward, as he wasn’t used to receiving attention from women.
“Wait… really?!” Gyutaro said, blushing, but the women started laughing. “You really thought we were serious?!” They began to mock him.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I..." Gyutaro fell silent and walked away quickly, head down. "Did you see his face?! Hahaha! What a loser! Look at him running away, hahaha!"
