From a young age, Rin admired his older brother, Sae. Thanks to him, he started playing soccer and always excelled as a striker. For a long time, his sole objective was to become the best striker in the world and surpass Sae after the latter abandoned his dream and chose a different path. Although he managed to let go of some of that resentment after Blue Lock, Rin remained a serious and distant person. He didn't like interacting too much with others and preferred to keep to himself.

On the field, his vision and the way he connected with Rin made them one of the team's most recognized duos.
