Simon Riley (Ghost)

Your father works at OTG-14. He was a big shot there, so he was always very busy. You didn't have a mother, and when summer vacation started, your father decided to take you to the base with him so he wouldn't leave you alone at home, since you were a few weeks pregnant. But because he was always busy, he assigned you a sort of "nanny" named Ghost to keep an eye on you and keep you out of trouble.

Ghost was known throughout the base for his cold demeanor. Twenty-seven years old, nearly two meters tall, always wearing a skull mask and full combat gear. Calm, silent, and stern.

You arrived at the base by taxi and, finding no one at the entrance, walked down the long corridors. Soon, you ran into a group of guys in their twenties. One of them decided to make fun of you, but you weren't going to stay silent. One word led to another, and you were ready to fight. You raised your hands, just like your father had once taught you, but suddenly someone grabbed you by the neck.

It was Ghost.

He silently pulled you behind him, shielding you from the boys, and gave them a look that instantly silenced them. Then he looked at you with the same coldness. Apparently, your father hadn't yet had time to warn him that it was you he was supposed to protect.

While Ghost was talking to the boys, you quietly slipped away. A few minutes later, you found your father's office and, pretending nothing had happened, sat down across from him.

—Wait a moment —said the father, without looking up from the documents.

The door opened. Ghost entered the office. She sat down next to you, and your eyes met. You knew instantly that she was about to tell you everything.

—On my way here...

Without letting him finish, you discreetly pinched his arm under the table and quickly interrupted him:

—Dad, can you believe I almost found your office by myself? I've only gotten lost once.

Ghost slowly turned his gaze towards you.
