Special Grade:
This is not simply a continuation of the scale, but a category for rule-breaking anomalies. Unlike grades 4 through 1, which are based on standard combat effectiveness, a Special Grade is defined by its overwhelming destructive capacity; technically, a Special Grade sorcerer has enough power to single-handedly topple an entire country. These are beings beyond the control of the higher command.

The ranking system in Jujutsu society not only measures a sorcerer's power level, but also their reliability, experience, and the level of missions they can undertake.

A key rule for understanding this ranking is the equivalence with curses: high-ranking officials are conservative in their classifications. A sorcerer of a given rank is expected to be able to easily defeat a curse of that same rank. Therefore, a sorcerer's actual power is usually closer to the level of a curse of a higher rank.
Here is the detailed ranking, from the lowest level to the pinnacle of power:

Grade 4:
It is the lowest rank and the starting point for most inexperienced students. Rank 4 wizards are weak compared to the average and are rarely sent on important missions, unless it is in a minor support role.

Grade 3:
The average level for experienced students from the Tokyo and Kyoto schools. A Rank 3 sorcerer already has good control over their cursed energy, can use basic techniques fluently, and is capable of dealing with minor curses alone.

Grade 2 (and Semi-Grade 2):
Being a Grade 2 means being a highly competent sorcerer, above average. Those at this level are frequently entrusted with solo missions and are considered valuable assets to Jujutsu society. "Semi-Grade" indicates that the sorcerer has been recommended for promotion to Grade 2 and is currently under evaluation.

Grade 1 (and Semi-Grade 1):
It is the highest rank a regular sorcerer can achieve. Rank 1 sorcerers are the military elite of Jujutsu society. They possess refined techniques, superhuman reflexes, great tactical intellect, and often the ability to use Domain Expansion. They are the leaders who guide the next generation.

Jujutsu Sorcerers are rare humans who possess two main characteristics:
They can see the cursed energy and the cursed spirits.
They can control the flow of their cursed energy, preventing it from leaking out of their bodies, and using it at will to fight curses.

🧬 Advanced Concepts
The use of cursed energy is not limited to simply striking. It has extremely complex applications:

Reverse Curse Technique (RCT): By default, curse energy is negative and therefore destructive. However, some genius sorcerers can multiply negative energy by negative energy (- times - = +) to create positive energy. This positive energy is primarily used to heal severe physical wounds or regenerate limbs.

Black Flash: This phenomenon occurs when a sorcerer applies cursed energy to a physical strike with a margin of error of 0.000001 seconds. The impact creates a spatial distortion, the energy flashes black, and the destructive power of the strike increases to the power of 2.5.

Binding Vows: These are invisible contracts made with cursed energy. A sorcerer can impose a restriction on themselves (for example, explaining aloud how their power works) in exchange for increasing the effectiveness and strength of their attack.

It is the fundamental power system and the energy source that drives all the supernatural abilities in the series.
The following explains its foundations, how it works, and its key concepts:

🌑 Origin and Nature:
The cursed energy originates from the negative emotions of human beings. Feelings such as fear, hatred, anger, resentment, jealousy, and sadness generate this energy.

Since all human beings experience negative emotions, almost all of humanity naturally produces cursed energy, although the vast majority are unaware of it.

💧 The "Escape" and the Cursed Spirits
Normal people (not sorcerers) cannot control their emotions to a level that allows them to retain this energy, so they constantly "filter" or "leak" it outwards.

When this filtered cursed energy accumulates in places where many negative emotions converge (such as schools, hospitals, or cemeteries), it eventually takes shape and comes to life, creating Cursed Spirits (or simply "curses").

Curses are invisible monsters to normal people and are made purely of cursed energy.

⚡ The Electricity Analogy:

The Cursed Energy is like electricity: It is pure, volatile power. It can be used on its own to strengthen the physical body, strike harder, or protect oneself from attacks (like an invisible shield).

Cursed Techniques are like household appliances: To achieve specific effects (such as summoning fire, manipulating shadows, or changing bodies), "electricity" (cursed energy) must be channeled through an "appliance" (each sorcerer's innate technique).

3. The Tragedy of Suguru Geto (The Breaking Point):
   Following the incident with Toji, Gojo began undertaking solo missions due to his immense power. Geto, meanwhile, sank into a deep depression as he grappled with the ugliness of humanity and the constant stress of exorcising curses.

The betrayal: Geto went mad and decided that the only way to end the curses was to exterminate all humans who were not sorcerers. He murdered an entire village, including his own parents.

The moral dilemma: Gojo, despite having the power to kill Geto instantly when they confronted each other in Shinjuku, couldn't do it. His emotional attachment to his only best friend temporarily prevented him.

The inevitable conclusion: Years later, during the events, Geto launches a massive attack and is defeated by Yuta Okkotsu. Gojo is the one who finally finds a badly wounded Geto and executes him to end his madness, an act that scars him for life.

   Gojo realized a painful truth: "Being the strongest isn't enough." He could save whoever was in front of him, but he couldn't change the rotten sorcery society or prevent tragedies like Geto's from happening again on his own.

The decision: Instead of assassinating the corrupt high-ranking officials of the sorcery world (which, according to him, would be easy but useless because they would only be replaced by people like themselves), he decided to become a teacher.

His dream: To raise a generation of strong and intelligent sorcerers (like Megumi, Yuji, Yuta, Hakari, and Maki) who will eventually reboot the world of Jujutsu and become his equals, so he will never have to carry the weight of the world alone again.

2. The Stellar Plasma Vessel Mission (Adolescence - 2006):
   During his second year at the Magical Technical College, he teamed up with Shoko Ieiri and Suguru Geto, his classmate and only true friend, whom he considered his equal. Their teacher, Masamichi Yaga, assigned them the mission of protecting Riko Amanai, a young woman destined to merge with the immortal being Tengen.

Toji's Ambush: Megumi's father, Toji Fushiguro, an assassin without cursed energy, devised a master plan to mentally and physically exhaust Gojo over several days.
The first (and almost only) defeat: Toji managed to evade the perception of the Six Eyes and stabbed Gojo in the back, cutting his throat and stabbing his brain.

Bureaucracy and Politics: They handle the clan's paperwork, attend lower-level political meetings with the higher-ups in the sorcery, and maintain traditional appearances.

Fortune Management: As we saw with his money, someone has to manage the clan's immense properties, investments, and bank accounts. The family makes sure that Satoru never lacks anything.

Caring for the "Golden Child": The clan knows perfectly well that its status as one of the Three Great Families depends solely on Satoru's continued existence. If he dies or abandons them, the Gojo clan would immediately fall from grace in the eyes of the Zen'in and Kamo clans. Therefore, they pamper Satoru and tolerate all his eccentricities.

What does he spend all that money on?
Gojo is not stingy; he uses his money both for personal pleasures and to manipulate the corrupt system of sorcery to his advantage.

   When Toji Fushiguro tried to sell his own son (Megumi) to the Zen'in Clan, the price set was hundreds of millions of yen. Gojo intervened, used his money and influence to cancel the transaction, and took Megumi in, paying for all his living and educational expenses from childhood.

Special Grade Salary: He is one of only four recognized Special Grade sorcerers. The missions he undertakes are so dangerous (and save so many people or infrastructure) that the fees paid by high command and the government are astronomical.

The Visual Effect on Victims (Infinite Information):
The most terrifying and distinctive aspect of the Domain's appearance is not just the landscape, but what happens to those who become trapped inside:

The eyes go blank: Victims who receive the flow of information lose control of their body; their eyes become completely blank or glassy, ​​reflecting the brightness of the cosmos.

Perceptual paralysis: Visually, the person is suspended in the air or static, unable to move, speak or blink, trapped in a state where their mind tries to process infinite amounts of data per millisecond without being able to do so.

2. Direct Rotation: Blue (Ao):
   It's the convergence technique. Gojo creates "negative spaces" in reality (they function like tiny black holes). As the universe tries to fill that void quickly, a brutal magnetic force of attraction is generated that crushes, sucks in, or tears apart everything around it.
